Maryam Verse 68

By your Lord ˹O Prophet˺! We will surely gather them along with the devils, and then set them around Hell on their knees.

By your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils, then We will surely bring them all around Hell on their knees.

Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees.

By your Lord [Prophet] We shall gather them and the devils together and set them on their knees around Hell;

By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. *Chapter: 19

So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;

By your Lord, We will surely muster them and the devils together. Then We will surely bring them all, on their knees, around Hell,

By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell.

So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees.

By your Lord, We will surely gather them with the devils; then We will surely bring them up around hell [scrambling] on their knees.

And so, by your Lord, We will most certainly raise to life and gather them all together, as well as the satans (of humankind and jinn whom they used to follow), before Us, and then We will most certainly heap them up on their knees in groups around Hell.

By your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and (their) satans as well, then We shall bring them, in every case, crouching on their knees to the environs of Gehenna.

So by your Lord We will gather them (E), and the devils, then We will present/bring them (E) around Hell kneeling/standing on (their) toes.

So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils - all of them - and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees.

But then does not man remember that We created him before when he was naught?

So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees.

Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing?

So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees.

And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell.

By your Lord, We will bring them back to life with satan and gather them around hell in large groups.

By your Lord, We will gather them and the satans, and We shall parade them hobbling on their knees in Gehenna:

So by your Lord, surely We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin, then We shall bring them round Hell, Jithyya.

By your Lord, We shall most surely gather them and the devils too; and bring them close to hell on their knees.

By your Lord, We will round them up, and the devils, then We will bring them around Hell, on their knees.

For by your Lord, We will surely gather them, namely, the deniers of the Resurrection, and the devils, that is to say, We shall gather every one of them with his devil [bound together] in a chain; then We shall bring them around Hell, [around] the outside of it, crouching, on their knees ([jithiyyan is] the plural of jthin, and is originally [formed as] jathawuwwin or jathawiyyun [deriving] from [the verb] jath, [imperfect tense] yajthu or yajth, two [variant] forms).

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُرَنَّهُمْ وَالشَّيَاطِينَ

So by your Lord, surely We shall gather them together, and the Shayatin,

The Lord, Blessed be He the Most High, swears by His Noble Self that He will definitely gather all of those who worshipped other than Allah and their devils as well.

ثُمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّهُمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيًّا



then We shall bring them round Hell, Jithiyya.

Al-Awfi related that Ibn Abbas said,

"This means sitting and it is similar to His statement,

وَتَرَى كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً

And you will see each nation Jathiyah." (45;28)

As-Suddi commented on the word Jithiyya,

"It means standing."

It has been reported from Murrah that Ibn Mas`ud said the same.
