Taha Verse 102

˹Beware of˺ the Day the Trumpet will be blown,[[ See footnote for {18:99}. ]] and We will gather the wicked on that Day blue-faced ˹from horror and thirst˺.[[ This can also mean “blind.” ]]

the Day when the Trumpet will be blown; on that Day We will gather together the wicked sightless [from horror].

On the day the Trumpet is blown; and We shall muster the sinners upon that day with eyes staring,

When the trumpet is sounded and We gather the sinful, sightless,

The Day whereon the trumpet will be blown into, and We shall gather the culprits on that Day blear-eyed,

The Day when the Trumpet will be sounded; that Day, We shall gather the sinful, blear-eyed (with terror).

the Day when the Trumpet shall be sounded and We shall muster the sinners, their eyes turned blue with terror.

The day the trumpet blast is sounded We shall raise the sinners blind,

On the day when the Trumpet is blown and We shall assemble the guilty on that day, blue -eyed.

—the day the Trumpet will be blown; on that day We shall muster the guilty with blind eyes.

That Day the Trumpet will be blown, and We will raise to life and gather the disbelieving criminals white-eyed (with terror and fatigue);

The Day when the trumpet shall be blown, and on that Day We shall gather the sinners together, blue-eyed (- the spiritually blind ones).

A day the horn/bugle is being blown in and We gather the criminals/sinners (on) that day blind/blue .

On the day when the Trumpet is blown and We shall assemble the guilty on that day, blue -eyed.

Abiding under it, an evil burden to bear on the Day of Resurrection.

The Day when the Trumpet will be blown (the second blowing): that Day, We shall gather the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) Zurqa: (blue or blind eyed with black faces).

Abiding therein. And evil will be their burden on the day of Resurrection --

On the day when the trumpet shall be blown, and We will gather the guilty, blue-eyed, on that day

The day when the Trumpet is blown. On that day we assemble the guilty white-eyed (with terror),

On the day when the trumpet will be sounded We will raise the criminals from their graves and their eyes will be turned blue and blind.

The Day when the Horn shall be blown. On that Day, We shall assemble all the sinners with blued eyes,

The Day when the Sur will be blown: that Day, We shall gather the criminals blue-eyed.

the Day when the trumpet shall be blown: We shall gather all the sinners on that Day. Their eyes will turn blue with terror

On the Day when the Trumpet is blown—We will gather the sinners on that Day, blue.

The day the Trumpet is blown, the Horn, the Second Blast, and We shall assemble the criminals, the disbelievers, on that day bruised, in the eye along with their faces blackened.

The Blowing of the Sur and the Day of Resurrection

Allah the Exalted says,

يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِي الصُّورِ وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَيِذٍ زُرْقًا



The Day when the Sur will be blown;that Day, We shall gather the criminals blue-eyed.

It has been confirmed in a Hadith that the Messenger of Allah was asked about the Sur and he replied,

قَرْنٌ يُنْفَخُ فِيه

It is a horn that will be blown into.

It has been related in a Hadith about the Sur, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that;

it is a huge horn that has a circumference as large as the heavens and the earth. The angel Israfil will blow into it.

Another Hadith has been related which states that the Prophet said,

كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ وَصَاحِبُ الْقَرْنِ قَدِ الْتقَمَ الْقَرْنَ وَحَنَى جَبْهَتَهُ وَانْتَظَرَ أَنْ يُوْذَنَ لَه

How can I be comfortable when the one with the horn is holding it in his lips and his forehead is leaning forward, waiting to be given permission (to blow it).

The people said, "O Messenger of Allah, what should we say!"

He said,

قُولُوا

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ عَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا

Say;

Allah is sufficient for us and what a good protector He is. Upon Allah we place our trust.

Concerning His statement,

..
وَنَحْشُرُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ يَوْمَيِذٍ زُرْقًا


And We shall gather the criminals blue-eyed.

It has been said that this means having blue eyes due to the severity of their horrifying situation
