An-Naml Verse 58

And We poured upon them a rain ˹of brimstone˺. How evil was the rain of those who had been warned!

And We rained upon them a rain [of stones]. How terrible was the rain of those who were warned!

And We rained on them a rain; and evil indeed is the rain of them that are warned.

and We brought rain down on them. How dreadful that rain was for those who had been warned!

And We rained upon them a rain; ill was the rain upon the warned.

And We rained down on them a shower (of brimstone); and evil was the shower on those who were admonished (but heeded not)!

And We rained down upon them a rain. It was an evil rain for those who had already been warned.

And We rained down on them a shower (of stones). How ruinous was the rain that fell on those who had been warned (but warned in vain)!

And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned!

Then We poured down upon them a rain [of stones]. Evil was that rain for those who had been warned!

We poured upon them a (destructive) rain (of stones). How evil was the rain of those who had been warned.

And We pelted them with a terrible rain (of stones). So (look,) how evil was the rain which descended upon those who had been warned!

And We rained on them rain, so the warned`s/given notice`s rain was bad/evil/harmful.

And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned!

But We saved him and his family except his wife; her We destined to be of those who lingered behind;

And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). So evil was the rain of those who were warned.

But the answer of his people was naught except that they said: Drive out Lot’s followers from your town; surely they are a people who would keep pure!

And We rained on them a rain, and evil was the rain of those who had been warned.

And We rained a rain upon them. Dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned.

We sent to them a terrible rainstorm. How horrible was the rain for the people who had already received warning.

And we rained on them a rain (of stones); indeed it is an evil rain that rains on those that are warned.

And We rained down on them a rain. So, evil was the rain of those who were warned.

and We pelted them with torrential rain. How dreadful that rain was for those who had been warned!

And We rained upon them a rain. Miserable was the rain of those forewarned.

Then We rained on them a rain -- these were the stones of baked mud [cf. Q. 15;74] -- which destroyed them. And evil indeed was, their rain, the rain of those who were warned, against chastisement.

وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِم مَّطَرًا

And We rained down on them a rain.

means; stones of Sijjil, in a well-arranged manner one after another. Marked from your Lord; and they are not ever far from the evildoers.

Allah said;

فَسَاء مَطَرُ الْمُنذَرِينَ



So, evil was the rain of those who were warned.

meaning, those against whom proof was established and whom the warning reached, but they went against the Messenger and denied him, and resolved to drive him out from among them
