They receive good tidings of favor from Allah and bounty and [of the fact] that Allah does not allow the reward of believers to be lost – (Ali 'Imran [3] : 171)

Joyful in grace, in the reward, and bounty, in addition to it, from God, and that (read wa-anna as a supplement to ni`matin, or wa-inna to denote a new clause) God does not let the wage of believers go to waste, but rewards them.
27 Tafseer Ibn Kathir
They rejoice in a grace and a bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.
Muhammad bin Ishaq commented,
"They were delighted and pleased because of Allah's promise that was fulfilled for them, and for the tremendous rewards they earned."
Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam said,
"This Ayah encompasses all the believers, martyrs and otherwise. Rarely does Allah mention a bounty and a reward that He granted to the Prophets, without following that with what He has granted the believers after them." The Battle of Hamra' Al-Asad

They have assumed a state of mind that brightens up their faces for the grace and the bounty conferred on them by Allah. It is a state of mind with an air of assurance that Allah does not withhold nor withdraw the grateful return due to those whose hearts have been impressed with the image of religious and spiritual virtues
