وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوْا مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُوْنَ  ( يس: ٤٥ )

laʿallakum
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
tur'ḥamūna
تُرْحَمُونَ
receive mercy"

Wa izaa qeela lahumuttaqoo maa baina aideekum wa maa khalfakum la'allakum turhamoon (Yāʾ Sīn 36:45)

Sahih International:

But when it is said to them, "Beware of what is before you and what is behind you; perhaps you will receive mercy..." (Ya-Sin [36] : 45)

And (they pay no heed) when it is said to them, “Save yourselves from that (punishment) which is before you (in this world) and that which will come after you (die), so that you may receive mercy”.
