As-Saffat Verse 52

who used to ask ˹me˺, ‘Do you actually believe ˹in resurrection˺?

who used to say, ‘Are you one of those who believe

who would say, "Are you a confirmer?

who used to ask me, “Do you really believe that

Who said: art thou of those who confess to the doctrine of Resurrection:

"Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)?

who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)?

Who used to say: 'Are you one of those who can testify to the truth?

“Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ –

who used to say, ‘‘Are you really among those who affirm

"Who used to ask me, ‘Are you really one of those who confirm the truth (of what the Messenger teaches us about the Last Judgment)?

`Who used to say, "Are you indeed one of those who confirm (and really believe in the Resurrection)?

He says: "You are (E) from the confirming/charity givers."

“Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ -

"Who said, ´What! are you indeed of those who bear witness to (the truth)?

Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death).

A speaker of them will say: Surely I had a comrade,

Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)?

Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)?

'Do you believe in the Day of Judgment?

who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)?

"Who used to say: `Are you among those who believe.

who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that

Who used to say, “Are you of those who believe?

who used to say, to me in reproach, "Are you really among those who affirm as truth, the Resurrection [and],

Who used to say;"Are you among those who believe..."

means, `do you believe in the resurrection after death, and the Reckoning and reward or punishment!'

He used to say that by way of astonishment, disbelief and stubbornness.

أَيِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَامًا أَيِنَّا لَمَدِينُونَ
