Az-Zukhruf Verse 50

But as soon as We removed the torments from them, they broke their promise.

But as soon We removed the punishment from them, they broke their promise.

But when We removed from them the chastisement, behold, they broke their troth.

but as soon as We relieved their torment they broke their word.

Then When We had removed from them the torment, behold they were breaking their promise.

But when We removed the Penalty from them, behold, they broke their word.

But lo, each time We removed Our affliction from them, they would go back on their word.

Yet no sooner did We take away the affliction from them than they broke their pledge.

So when We averted the calamity from them, they immediately broke the promise!

But when We lifted the punishment from them, behold, they would break their pledge.

But when We removed the punishment from them, they then broke their promise.

But no sooner did We relieve them of their affliction than they broke their word.

So when We removed/uncovered from them the torture, then they are breaking/breaching/violating.

So when We averted the calamity from them, they immediately broke the promise!

But when We removed from them the chastisement, lo! They broke the pledge.

But when We removed the torment from them, behold! They broke their covenant (that they will believe if We remove the torment for them).

And they said: O enchanter, call on thy Lord for us, as He has made the covenant with thee; we shall surely follow guidance.

But when We removed from them the chastisement, lo! they broke the pledge.

But when We eased them of the torment, behold! they broke their word.

When We relieved them from the torment they suddenly turned back on their heels.

But when We had relieved them of their punishment they broke their promise.

But when We removed the torment from them, behold, they broke their covenant.

but when We relieved them of the torment, they broke their word.

But when We lifted the torment from them, they immediately broke their promise.

But as soon as We relieved them, by the supplication of Moses, from the chastisement, behold! they had broken their pledge, reneging on their covenant and persisting in their disbelief.

Invoke your Lord for us according to what He has made a pact with you. Verily, We shall guide ourselves."

But when We removed the torment from them, behold, they broke their covenant.

On each occasion, they promised Musa that if the torment was lifted from them, they would believe in him and let the Children of Israel go with him, but on each occasion they went back on their word.

This is like the Ayat;

فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ ءَايَـتٍ مّفَصَّلَتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُواْ وَكَانُواْ قَوْماً مُّجْرِمِينَ

وَلَمَّا وَقَعَ عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّجْزُ قَالُواْ يَمُوسَى ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ لَيِن كَشَفْتَ عَنَّا الرِّجْزَ لَنُوْمِنَنَّ لَكَ وَلَنُرْسِلَنَّ مَعَكَ بَنِى إِسْرَءِيلَ

فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْزَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ هُم بَـلِغُوهُ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

So We sent on them;the flood, the locusts, the Qummal, the frogs, and the blood; manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were criminals. And when the punishment struck them, they said;"O Musa! Invoke your Lord for us because of His promise to you. If you remove the punishment from us, we indeed shall believe in you, and we shall let the Children of Israel go with you."

But when We removed the punishment from them to a fixed term, which they had to reach, behold! they broke their word! (7;133-135
