فَلَمَّآ اٰتٰىهُمْ مِّنْ فَضْلِهٖ بَخِلُوْا بِهٖ وَتَوَلَّوْا وَّهُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٧٦ )
falammā
فَلَمَّآ
But when
Et ensuite, quand
ātāhum
ءَاتَىٰهُم
He gave them
Il leur a donné
min
مِّن
of

faḍlihi
فَضْلِهِۦ
His Bounty
Sa faveur,
bakhilū
بَخِلُوا۟
they became stingy
ils ont retenu par avarice
bihi
بِهِۦ
with it
[à] lui
watawallaw
وَتَوَلَّوا۟
and turned away
et se sont détournés
wahum
وَّهُم
while they
alors qu’ils
muʿ'riḍūna
مُّعْرِضُونَ
(were) averse
(étaient) des gens qui se détournent.
Falammaaa aataahum min fadlihee bakhiloo bihee wa tawallaw wa hum mu'ridoon (at-Tawbah 9:76)
English Sahih:
But when He gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused. (At-Tawbah [9] : 76)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Mais, lorsqu'Il leur donna de Sa grâce, ils s'en montrèrent avares et tournèrent le dos en faisant volte-face. (At-Tawbah [9] : 76)
