اَتَّخَذْنٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا اَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ الْاَبْصَارُ ( ص: ٦٣ )
Did we take them
أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ
क्या बना लिया हमने उनको
(in) ridicule
سِخْرِيًّا
मज़ाक़
or
أَمْ
या
has turned away
زَاغَتْ
कज हो गईं
from them
عَنْهُمُ
उनसे
the vision?"
ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ
निगाहें
Attakhathnahum sikhriyyan am zaghat 'anhumu alabsaru (Ṣād 38:63)

क्या हमने यूँ ही उनका मज़ाक बनाया था, यह उनसे निगाहें चूक गई हैं?'
English Sahih:
Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" ([38] Sad : 63)
