وَاِذَا قَرَاۡتَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَ جَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِالۡاٰخِرَةِ حِجَابًا مَّسۡتُوۡرًا(الإسراء :45)
Waitha qarata alqurana ja'alna baynaka wabayna allatheena la yuminoona bialakhirati hijaban mastooran
Sahih International:
And when you recite the Qur'an, We put between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter a concealed partition.
وَّجَعَلۡنَا عَلٰى قُلُوۡبِهِمۡ اَكِنَّةً اَنۡ يَّفۡقَهُوۡهُ وَفِىۡۤ اٰذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرًا ؕ وَاِذَا ذَكَرۡتَ رَبَّكَ فِى الۡقُرۡاٰنِ وَحۡدَهٗ وَلَّوۡا عَلٰٓى اَدۡبَارِهِمۡ نُفُوۡرًا(الإسراء :46)
Waja'alna 'ala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihim waqran waitha thakarta rabbaka fee alqurani wahdahu wallaw 'ala adbarihim nufooran
Sahih International:
And We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn back in aversion.
نَحۡنُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ بِهٖۤ اِذۡ يَسۡتَمِعُوۡنَ اِلَيۡكَ وَاِذۡ هُمۡ نَجۡوٰٓى اِذۡ يَقُوۡلُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ اِنۡ تَتَّبِعُوۡنَ اِلَّا رَجُلًا مَّسۡحُوۡرًا(الإسراء :47)
Nahnu a'lamu bima yastami'oona bihi ith yastami'oona ilayka waith hum najwa ith yaqoolu alththalimoona in tattabi'oona illa rajulan mashooran
Sahih International:
We are most knowing of how they listen to it when they listen to you and [of] when they are in private conversation, when the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
