وَلَمَّا جَاۤءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ بِالْبُشْرٰىۙ قَالُوْٓا اِنَّا مُهْلِكُوْٓا اَهْلِ هٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ ۚاِنَّ اَهْلَهَا كَانُوْا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ۚ ( العنكبوت: ٣١ )
Wa lammaa jaaa'at Rusulunaaa Ibraaheema bil bushraa qaalooo innaa muhlikoo ahli haazihil qaryati inna ahlahaa kaanoo zaalimeen (al-ʿAnkabūt 29:31)
English Sahih:
And when Our messengers [i.e., angels] came to Abraham with the good tidings, they said, "Indeed, we will destroy the people of that [i.e., Lot's] city. Indeed, its people have been wrongdoers." (Al-'Ankabut [29] : 31)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്മാര് ഇബ്റാഹീമിന്റെ അടുത്ത് ശുഭവാര്ത്തയുമായെത്തി. അപ്പോള് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ''തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് ഇന്നാട്ടുകാരെ നശിപ്പിക്കാന് പോവുകയാണ്; ഉറപ്പായും ഇവിടത്തുകാര് അക്രമികളായിരിക്കുന്നു.'' (അല്അന്കബൂത്ത് [29] : 31)
