86. At-Tariq ayah 17 - Coran: French

فَمَهِّلِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ اَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا ࣖ ( الطارق: ١٧ )

famahhili

فَمَهِّلِ

So give respite

Laisse donc du répit

l-kāfirīna

ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

(to) the disbelievers

(aux) mécréants,

amhil'hum

أَمْهِلْهُمْ

Give respite to them -

laisse-leur du répit

ruwaydan

رُوَيْدًۢا

little

(pendant) une courte période.

Famahhilil kaafireena amhilhum ruwaidaa (aṭ-Ṭāriq̈ 86:17)

English Sahih:

So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. (At-Tariq [86] : 17)

Accorde (ô Prophète) donc un délai aux infidèles: accorde-leur un court délai. (At-Tariq [86] : 17)

Accorde donc, ô Messager, à ces mécréants un court délai et ne cherche pas à hâter leur châtiment et leur anéantissement.
