وَيَدْرَؤُا عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ اَنْ تَشْهَدَ اَرْبَعَ شَهٰدٰتٍۢ بِاللّٰهِ اِنَّهٗ لَمِنَ الْكٰذِبِيْنَ ۙ ( النور: ٨ )
But it would prevent
وَيَدْرَؤُا۟
और टाल देगी
from her
عَنْهَا
उस (औरत) से
the punishment
ٱلْعَذَابَ
सज़ा को
that
أَن
ये(बात) कि
she bears witness
تَشْهَدَ
वो गवाही दे
four
أَرْبَعَ
चार
testimonies
شَهَٰدَٰتٍۭ
गवाहियाँ
by Allah
بِٱللَّهِۙ
अल्लाह की क़सम के साथ
that he
إِنَّهُۥ
बेशक वो
(is) surely of
لَمِنَ
अलबत्ता झूठों में से है
the liars
ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ
अलबत्ता झूठों में से है
'anha al'athaba an tashhada arba'a shahadatin biAllahi innahu lamina alkathibeena (an-Nūr 24:8)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
पत्ऩी से भी सज़ा को यह बात टाल सकती है कि वह चार बार अल्लाह की क़सम खाकर गवाही दे कि वह बिलकुल झूठा है
English Sahih:
But it will prevent punishment from her if she gives four testimonies [swearing] by Allah that indeed, he is of the liars. ([24] An-Nur : 8)
