قَدۡ مَكَرَ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَاَتَى اللّٰهُ بُنۡيَانَهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ السَّقۡفُ مِنۡ فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَاَتٰٮهُمُ الۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُوۡنَ(النحل :26)
Qad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawa'idi fakharra 'alayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu al'athabu min haythu la yash'uroona
Sahih International:
Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.
وَجَعَلۡنَا السَّمَآءَ سَقۡفًا مَّحۡفُوۡظًا ۖۚ وَّهُمۡ عَنۡ اٰيٰتِهَا مُعۡرِضُوۡنَ(الأنبياء :32)
Waja'alna alssamaa saqfan mahfoothan wahum 'an ayatiha mu'ridoona
Sahih International:
And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away.
وَلَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ يَّكُوۡنَ النَّاسُ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً لَّجَـعَلۡنَا لِمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرُ بِالرَّحۡمٰنِ لِبُيُوۡتِهِمۡ سُقُفًا مِّنۡ فِضَّةٍ وَّمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُوۡنَۙ(الزخرف :33)
Walawla an yakoona alnnasu ommatan wahidatan laja'alna liman yakfuru bialrrahmani libuyootihim suqufan min fiddatin wama'arija 'alayha yathharoona
Sahih International:
And if it were not that the people would become one community [of disbelievers], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful - for their houses - ceilings and stairways of silver upon which to mount
