Surah [12] Yusuf : 30

وَقَالَ نِسۡوَةٌ فِى الۡمَدِيۡنَةِ امۡرَاَتُ الۡعَزِيۡزِ تُرَاوِدُ فَتٰٮهَا عَنۡ نَّـفۡسِهٖ‌ۚ قَدۡ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّا‌ ؕ اِنَّا لَـنَرٰٮهَا فِىۡ ضَلٰلٍ مُّبِيۡنٍ(يوسف :30)

وَقَالَ
And said
نِسْوَةٌ
women
فِى
in
ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
the city
ٱمْرَأَتُ
"The wife of
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
Aziz
تُرَٰوِدُ
(is) seeking to seduce
فَتَىٰهَا
her slave boy
عَن
about
نَّفْسِهِۦۖ
himself;
قَدْ
indeed
شَغَفَهَا
he has impassioned her
حُبًّاۖ
(with) love
إِنَّا
Indeed we
لَنَرَىٰهَا
[we] surely see her
فِى
in
ضَلَٰلٍ
an error
مُّبِينٍ
clear"

Waqala niswatun fee almadeenati imraatu al'azeezi turawidu fataha 'an nafsihi qad shaghafaha hubban inna lanaraha fee dalalin mubeenin

Sahih International:

And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is seeking to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her [to be] in clear error."

Surah [12] Yusuf : 51

قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُنَّ اِذۡ رَاوَدْتُّنَّ يُوۡسُفَ عَنۡ نَّـفۡسِهٖ‌ؕ قُلۡنَ حَاشَ لِلّٰهِ مَا عَلِمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ سُوۡۤءٍ‌ ؕ قَالَتِ امۡرَاَتُ الۡعَزِيۡزِ الۡــٰٔنَ حَصۡحَصَ الۡحَقُّ اَنَا رَاوَدْتُّهٗ عَنۡ نَّـفۡسِهٖ وَاِنَّهٗ لَمِنَ الصّٰدِقِيۡنَ‏(يوسف :51)

قَالَ
He said
مَا
"What
خَطْبُكُنَّ
(was) your affair
إِذْ
when
رَٰوَدتُّنَّ
you sought to seduce
يُوسُفَ
Yusuf
عَن
from
نَّفْسِهِۦۚ
himself?"
قُلْنَ
They said
حَٰشَ
"Allah forbid!
لِلَّهِ
"Allah forbid!
مَا
Not
عَلِمْنَا
we know
عَلَيْهِ
about him
مِن
any
سُوٓءٍۚ
evil"
قَالَتِ
Said
ٱمْرَأَتُ
(the) wife
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
(of) Aziz
ٱلْـَٰٔنَ
"Now
حَصْحَصَ
(is) manifest
ٱلْحَقُّ
the truth
أَنَا۠
I
رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ
sought to seduce him
عَن
from
نَّفْسِهِۦ
himself
وَإِنَّهُۥ
and indeed, he
لَمِنَ
(is) surely of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
the truthful

Qala ma khatbukunna ith rawadtunna yoosufa 'an nafsihi qulna hasha lillahi ma 'alimna 'alayhi min sooin qalati imraatu al'azeezi alana hashasa alhaqqu ana rawadtuhu 'an nafsihi wainnahu lamina alssadiqeena

Sahih International:

Said [the king to the women], "What was your condition when you sought to seduce Joseph?" They said, "Perfect is Allah ! We know about him no evil." The wife of al-'Azeez said, "Now the truth has become evident. It was I who sought to seduce him, and indeed, he is of the truthful.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [12] Yusuf : 52

ذٰ لِكَ لِيَـعۡلَمَ اَنِّىۡ لَمۡ اَخُنۡهُ بِالۡغَيۡبِ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدِىۡ كَيۡدَ الۡخَـآٮِٕنِيۡنَ(يوسف :52)

ذَٰلِكَ
That
لِيَعْلَمَ
he may know
أَنِّى
that I
لَمْ
not
أَخُنْهُ
[I] betray him
بِٱلْغَيْبِ
in secret
وَأَنَّ
and that
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
لَا
(does) not
يَهْدِى
guide
كَيْدَ
(the) plan
ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ
(of) the betrayers"

Thalika liya'lama annee lam akhunhu bialghaybi waanna Allaha la yahdee kayda alkhaineena

Sahih International:

That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers.
