At-Tur Verse 33

Or do they say, “He made this ˹Quran˺ up!”? In fact, they have no faith.

Or do they say, “He has made it [the Qur’an] up”? Rather, they are not willing to believe.

Or do they say, 'He has invented it?' Nay, but they do not believe.

If they say, ‘He has made it up himself’- they certainly do not believe-

Or say they: he hath fabricated it: aye they will not believe.

Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith!

Do they say: “He has himself fabricated the Qur'an?” No; the truth is that they are altogether averse to believing.

Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe.

What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith.

Do they say, ‘He has improvised it [himself]?’ Rather, they have no faith!

Or do they say: "He forges it (and then attributes the Qur’an to God)?" No indeed. Rather, (they make such claims because) they have no will to believe.

They say, `He has fabricated it (- the Qur´ân).´ The fact is that they have no belief (in God).

Or they say: "He made it up." But/rather, they do not believe

What! They say, “He has invented the Qur´an”? Rather they do not have faith.

Or do they say, "He has forged it." Nay! They will not believe

Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not!

Or do their understandings bid them this? Or are they an inordinate people?

Or do they say: He has forged it. Nay! they do not believe.

Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe!

Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith.

Do they say: 'He has invented it' No, they do not believe.

Or do they say: "He has forged it" Nay! They believe not!

Or do they say, "He has invented it himself"? Indeed, they are not willing to believe.

Or do they say, “He made it up”? Rather, they do not believe.

Or do they say, `He has improvised it?', he has concocted the Qur'n. He has not concocted it; Rather they do not believe, out of arrogance. If they [continue to] say that he has concocted it;

أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُ

Or do they say;"He has forged it?"

They said, `he has forged this Qur'an and brought it from his own.'

Allah the Exalted responded to them,

بَل لاَّ يُوْمِنُونَ



Nay! They believe not!,

meaning, their disbelief drives them to utter these statements,

فَلْيَأْتُوا بِحَدِيثٍ مِّثْلِهِ إِن كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ

Or do they say that this is what your breast has forged that your tongue must vent? Indeed, their hearts' ears are closed and this is the reason they counsel deaf to admonition
