هُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُرِيۡكُمُ الۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفًا وَّطَمَعًا وَّيُنۡشِئُ السَّحَابَ الثِّقَالَۚ(الرعد :12)
Huwa allathee yureekumu albarqa khawfan watama'an wayunshio alssahaba alththiqala
Sahih International:
It is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy clouds.
وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعۡدُ بِحَمۡدِهٖ وَالۡمَلٰۤـٮِٕكَةُ مِنۡ خِيۡفَتِهٖ ۚ وَيُرۡسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيۡبُ بِهَا مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ وَهُمۡ يُجَادِلُوۡنَ فِى اللّٰهۚ ِ وَهُوَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡمِحَالِؕ(الرعد :13)
Wayusabbihu alrra'du bihamdihi waalmalaikatu min kheefatihi wayursilu alssawa'iqa fayuseebu biha man yashao wahum yujadiloona fee Allahi wahuwa shadeedu almihali
Sahih International:
And the thunder exalts [ Allah ] with praise of Him - and the angels [as well] from fear of Him - and He sends thunderbolts and strikes therewith whom He wills while they dispute about Allah ; and He is severe in assault.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ يُرِيۡكُمُ الۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفًا وَّطَمَعًا وَّيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَيُحۡىٖ بِهِ الۡاَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ(الروم :24)
Wamin ayatihi yureekumu albarqa khawfan watama'an wayunazzilu mina alssamai maan fayuhyee bihi alarda ba'da mawtiha inna fee thalika laayatin liqawmin ya'qiloona
Sahih International:
And of His signs is [that] He shows you the lightening [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.
