فَاَعۡرَضُوۡا فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَيۡلَ الۡعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلۡنٰهُمۡ بِجَنَّتَيۡهِمۡ جَنَّتَيۡنِ ذَوَاتَىۡ اُكُلٍ خَمۡطٍ وَّاَثۡلٍ وَّشَىۡءٍ مِّنۡ سِدۡرٍ قَلِيۡلٍ(سبإ :16)

فَأَعْرَضُوا۟

But they turned away

فَأَرْسَلْنَا

so We sent

عَلَيْهِمْ

upon them

سَيْلَ

(the) flood

ٱلْعَرِمِ

(of) the dam

وَبَدَّلْنَٰهُم

and We changed for them

بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ

their two gardens

جَنَّتَيْنِ

(with) two gardens

ذَوَاتَىْ

producing fruit

أُكُلٍ

producing fruit

خَمْطٍ

bitter

وَأَثْلٍ

and tamarisks

وَشَىْءٍ

and (some)thing

مِّن

سِدْرٍ

lote trees

قَلِيلٍ

few

Faa'radoo faarsalna 'alayhim sayla al'arimi wabaddalnahum bijannatayhim jannatayni thawatay okulin khamtin waathlin washayin min sidrin qaleelin

Sahih International:

But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees.
