وَهُوَ الَّذِىۡ جَعَلَ لَـكُمُ الَّيۡلَ لِبَاسًا وَّالنَّوۡمَ سُبَاتًا وَّجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُوۡرًا(الفرقان :47)
Wahuwa allathee ja'ala lakumu allayla libasan waalnnawma subatan waja'ala alnnahara nushooran
Sahih International:
And it is He who has made the night for you as clothing and sleep [a means for] rest and has made the day a resurrection.
اِتَّخَذُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَهُمۡ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيۡنٌ(المجادلة :16)
Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo 'an sabeeli Allahi falahum 'athabun muheenun
Sahih International:
They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
اِتَّخَذُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَهُمۡ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوۡا عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِؕ اِنَّهُمۡ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ(المنافقون :2)
Ittakhathoo aymanahum junnatan fasaddoo 'an sabeeli Allahi innahum saa ma kanoo ya'maloona
Sahih International:
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah . Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الۡمُدَّثِّرُ(المدثر :1)
Ya ayyuha almuddaththiru
Sahih International:
O you who covers himself [with a garment],
وَّجَعَلۡنَا الَّيۡلَ لِبَاسًا(النبإ :10)
Waja'alna allayla libasan
Sahih International:
And made the night as clothing
