وَاِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيَاتُنَا بَيِّنٰتٍ ۙ قَالَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يَرۡجُوۡنَ لِقَآءَنَا ائۡتِ بِقُرۡاٰنٍ غَيۡرِ هٰذَاۤ اَوۡ بَدِّلۡهُ ؕ قُلۡ مَا يَكُوۡنُ لِىۡۤ اَنۡ اُبَدِّلَهٗ مِنۡ تِلۡقَآئِ نَـفۡسِىۡ ۚ اِنۡ اَتَّبِعُ اِلَّا مَا يُوۡحٰۤى اِلَىَّ ۚ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ اِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّىۡ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ(يونس :15)
Waitha tutla 'alayhim ayatuna bayyinatin qala allatheena la yarjoona liqaana iti biquranin ghayri hatha aw baddilhu qul ma yakoonu lee an obaddilahu min tilqai nafsee in attabi'u illa ma yooha ilayya innee akhafu in 'asaytu rabbee 'athaba yawmin 'atheemin
Sahih International:
And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who do not expect the meeting with Us say, "Bring us a Qur'an other than this or change it." Say, [O Muhammad], "It is not for me to change it on my own accord. I only follow what is revealed to me. Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day."
قُلْ لَّوۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مَا تَلَوۡتُهٗ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَلَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكُمۡ بِهٖ ۖ فَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُ فِيۡكُمۡ عُمُرًا مِّنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ(يونس :16)
Qul law shaa Allahu ma talawtuhu 'alaykum wala adrakum bihi faqad labithtu feekum 'umuran min qablihi afala ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?"
فَلَعَلَّكَ تَارِكٌۢ بَعۡضَ مَا يُوۡحٰٓى اِلَيۡكَ وَضَآٮِٕقٌ ۢ بِهٖ صَدۡرُكَ اَنۡ يَّقُوۡلُوۡا لَوۡلَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ كَنۡزٌ اَوۡ جَآءَ مَعَهٗ مَلَكٌ ؕ اِنَّمَاۤ اَنۡتَ نَذِيۡرٌ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّكِيۡلٌ(هود :12)
Fala'allaka tarikun ba'da ma yooha ilayka wadaiqun bihi sadruka an yaqooloo lawla onzila 'alayhi kanzun aw jaa ma'ahu malakun innama anta natheerun waAllahu 'ala kulli shayin wakeelun
Sahih International:
Then would you possibly leave [out] some of what is revealed to you, or is your breast constrained by it because they say, "Why has there not been sent down to him a treasure or come with him an angel?" But you are only a warner. And Allah is Disposer of all things.
اَمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ افۡتَـرٰٮهُ ؕ قُلۡ فَاۡتُوۡا بِعَشۡرِ سُوَرٍ مِّثۡلِهٖ مُفۡتَرَيٰتٍ وَّ ادۡعُوۡا مَنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ مِّنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ صٰدِقِيۡنَ(هود :13)
Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul fatoo bi'ashri suwarin mithlihi muftarayatin waod'oo mani istata'tum min dooni Allahi in kuntum sadiqeena
Sahih International:
Or do they say, "He invented it"? Say, "Then bring ten surahs like it that have been invented and call upon [for assistance] whomever you can besides Allah, if you should be truthful."
فَاِلَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيۡبُوۡا لَـكُمۡ فَاعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ بِعِلۡمِ اللّٰهِ وَاَنۡ لَّاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ فَهَلۡ اَنۡتُمۡ مُّسۡلِمُوۡنَ(هود :14)
Fai llam yastajeeboo lakum fai'lamoo annama onzila bi'ilmi Allahi waan la ilaha illa huwa fahal antum muslimoona
Sahih International:
And if they do not respond to you - then know that the Qur'an was revealed with the knowledge of Allah and that there is no deity except Him. Then, would you [not] be Muslims?
قُلۡ مَا كُنۡتُ بِدۡعًا مِّنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَاۤ اَدۡرِىۡ مَا يُفۡعَلُ بِىۡ وَلَا بِكُمۡؕ اِنۡ اَتَّبِعُ اِلَّا مَا يُوۡحٰٓى اِلَىَّ وَمَاۤ اَنَا اِلَّا نَذِيۡرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ(الأحقاف :9)
Qul ma kuntu bid'an mina alrrusuli wama adree ma yuf'alu bee wala bikum in attabi'u illa ma yooha ilayya wama ana illa natheerun mubeenun
Sahih International:
Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."
