اَرَءَيْتَ الَّذِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيْنِ(الماعون :1)
Araayta allathee yukaththibu bialddeeni
Sahih International:
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيْ يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيْمَ(الماعون :2)
Fathalika allathee yadu''u alyateema
Sahih International:
For that is the one who drives away the orphan
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰي طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِيْنِ(الماعون :3)
Wala yahuddu 'ala ta'ami almiskeeni
Sahih International:
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّيْنَ (الماعون :4)
Fawaylun lilmusalleena
Sahih International:
So woe to those who pray
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ عَنْ صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُوْنَ (الماعون :5)
Allatheena hum 'an salatihim sahoona
Sahih International:
[But] who are heedless of their prayer -
الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ يُرَاۤءُوْنَ(الماعون :6)
Allatheena hum yuraoona
Sahih International:
Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمْنَعُوْنَ الْمَاعُوْنَ(الماعون :7)
Wayamna'oona alma'oona
Sahih International:
And withhold [simple] assistance.
