ARBNDEENIDTRUR

تَبَّتۡ يَدَاۤ اَبِىۡ لَهَبٍ وَّتَبَّؕ(المسد :1)

تَبَّتْ
Perish
يَدَآ
(the) hands
أَبِى
(of) Abu
لَهَبٍ
Lahab
وَتَبَّ
and perish he

Tabbat yada abee lahabin watabba

Sahih International:

May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.

ARBNDEENIDTRUR

مَاۤ اَغۡنٰى عَنۡهُ مَالُهٗ وَمَا كَسَبَؕ(المسد :2)

مَآ
Not
أَغْنَىٰ
(will) avail
عَنْهُ
him
مَالُهُۥ
his wealth
وَمَا
and what
كَسَبَ
he earned

Ma aghna 'anhu maluhu wama kasaba

Sahih International:

His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

ARBNDEENIDTRUR

سَيَصۡلٰى نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ(المسد :3)

سَيَصْلَىٰ
He will be burnt
نَارًا
(in) a Fire
ذَاتَ

لَهَبٍ
Blazing Flames

Sayasla naran thata lahabin

Sahih International:

He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

ARBNDEENIDTRUR

وَّامۡرَاَ تُهٗ ؕ حَمَّالَةَ الۡحَطَبِ‌ۚ‏(المسد :4)

وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
And his wife
حَمَّالَةَ
(the) carrier
ٱلْحَطَبِ
(of) firewood

Waimraatuhu hammalata alhatabi

Sahih International:

And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.

Fee jeediha hablun min masadin

Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
