وَ مَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاۤ اِلَّا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهۡوٌ ؕ وَلَـلدَّارُ الۡاٰخِرَةُ خَيۡرٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ يَتَّقُوۡنَؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ (الأنعام :32)
Wama alhayatu alddunya illa la'ibun walahwun walalddaru alakhirati khayrun lillatheena yattaqoona afala ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?
وَمَا هٰذِهِ الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاۤ اِلَّا لَهۡوٌ وَّلَعِبٌؕ وَاِنَّ الدَّارَ الۡاٰخِرَةَ لَهِىَ الۡحَـيَوَانُۘ لَوۡ كَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ(العنكبوت :64)
Wama hathihi alhayatu alddunya illa lahwun wala'ibun wainna alddara alakhirata lahiya alhayawanu law kanoo ya'lamoona
Sahih International:
And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.
اِنَّمَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهۡوٌ ؕ وَاِنۡ تُؤۡمِنُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا يُؤۡتِكُمۡ اُجُوۡرَكُمۡ وَلَا يَسۡــَٔــلۡكُمۡ اَمۡوَالَكُمۡ(محمد :36)
Innama alhayatu alddunya la'ibun walahwun wain tuminoo watattaqoo yutikum ojoorakum wala yasalkum amwalakum
Sahih International:
[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.
اِعۡلَمُوۡۤا اَنَّمَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَا لَعِبٌ وَّلَهۡوٌ وَّزِيۡنَةٌ وَّتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِى الۡاَمۡوَالِ وَالۡاَوۡلَادِؕ كَمَثَلِ غَيۡثٍ اَعۡجَبَ الۡكُفَّارَ نَبَاتُهٗ ثُمَّ يَهِيۡجُ فَتَرٰٮهُ مُصۡفَرًّا ثُمَّ يَكُوۡنُ حُطٰمًاؕ وَفِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ شَدِيۡدٌ ۙ وَّمَغۡفِرَةٌ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضۡوَانٌؕ وَمَا الۡحَيٰوةُ الدُّنۡيَاۤ اِلَّا مَتَاعُ الۡغُرُوۡرِ(الحديد :20)
I'lamoo annama alhayatu alddunya la'ibun walahwun wazeenatun watafakhurun baynakum watakathurun fee alamwali waalawladi kamathali ghaythin a'jaba alkuffara nabatuhu thumma yaheeju fatarahu musfarran thumma yakoonu hutaman wafee alakhirati 'athabun shadeedun wamaghfiratun mina Allahi waridwanun wama alhayatu alddunya illa mata'u alghuroori
Sahih International:
Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children - like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion.
