وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الۡمَلَاُ مَا عَلِمۡتُ لَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ اِلٰهٍ غَيۡرِىۡ ۚ فَاَوۡقِدۡ لِىۡ يٰهَامٰنُ عَلَى الطِّيۡنِ فَاجۡعَلْ لِّىۡ صَرۡحًا لَّعَلِّىۡۤ اَطَّلِعُ اِلٰٓى اِلٰهِ مُوۡسٰى ۙ وَاِنِّىۡ لَاَظُنُّهٗ مِنَ الۡـكٰذِبِيۡنَ(القصص :38)
Waqala fir'awnu ya ayyuha almalao ma 'alimtu lakum min ilahin ghayree faawqid lee ya hamanu 'ala altteeni faij'al lee sarhan la'allee attali'u ila ilahi moosa wainnee laathunnuhu mina alkathibeena
Sahih International:
And Pharaoh said, "O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars."
وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمۡ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَامٰنَ وَجُنُوۡدَهُمَا مِنۡهُمۡ مَّا كَانُوۡا يَحۡذَرُوۡنَ(القصص :6)
Wanumakkina lahum fee alardi wanuriya fir'awna wahamana wajunoodahuma minhum ma kanoo yahtharoona
Sahih International:
And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.
فَالۡتَقَطَهٗۤ اٰلُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ لِيَكُوۡنَ لَهُمۡ عَدُوًّا وَّحَزَنًا ؕ اِنَّ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَامٰنَ وَجُنُوۡدَهُمَا كَانُوۡا خٰطِـــِٕيۡنَ(القصص :8)
Failtaqatahu alu fir'awna liyakoona lahum 'aduwwan wahazanan inna fir'awna wahamana wajunoodahuma kanoo khatieena
Sahih International:
And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.
وَقَارُوۡنَ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَامٰنَۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ مُّوۡسٰى بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَاسۡتَكۡبَرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانُوۡا سٰبِقِيۡنَ(العنكبوت :39)
Waqaroona wafir'awna wahamana walaqad jaahum moosa bialbayyinati faistakbaroo fee alardi wama kanoo sabiqeena
Sahih International:
And [We destroyed] Qarun and Pharaoh and Haman. And Moses had already come to them with clear evidences, and they were arrogant in the land, but they were not outrunners [of Our punishment].
اِلٰى فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَ هَامٰنَ وَقَارُوۡنَ فَقَالُوۡا سٰحِرٌ كَذَّابٌ(غافر :24)
Ila fir'awna wahamana waqaroona faqaloo sahirun kaththabun
Sahih International:
To Pharaoh, Haman and Qarun; but they said, "[He is] a magician and a liar."
وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ يٰهَامٰنُ ابۡنِ لِىۡ صَرۡحًا لَّعَلِّىۡۤ اَبۡلُغُ الۡاَسۡبَابَۙ(غافر :36)
Waqala fir'awnu ya hamanu ibni lee sarhan la'allee ablughu alasbaba
Sahih International:
And Pharaoh said, "O Haman, construct for me a tower that I might reach the ways -
اَسۡبَابَ السَّمٰوٰتِ فَاَطَّلِعَ اِلٰٓى اِلٰهِ مُوۡسٰى وَاِنِّىۡ لَاَظُنُّهٗ كَاذِبًا ؕ وَكَذٰلِكَ زُيِّنَ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ سُوۡٓءُ عَمَلِهٖ وَصُدَّ عَنِ السَّبِيۡلِ ؕ وَمَا كَيۡدُ فِرۡعَوۡنَ اِلَّا فِىۡ تَبَابٍ(غافر :37)
Asbaba alssamawati faattali'a ila ilahi moosa wainnee laathunnuhu kathiban wakathalika zuyyina lifir'awna sooo 'amalihi wasudda 'ani alssabeeli wama kaydu fir'awna illa fee tababin
Sahih International:
The ways into the heavens - so that I may look at the deity of Moses; but indeed, I think he is a liar." And thus was made attractive to Pharaoh the evil of his deed, and he was averted from the [right] way. And the plan of Pharaoh was not except in ruin.
