قُلۡ يٰۤـاَهۡلَ الۡـكِتٰبِ لَا تَغۡلُوۡا فِىۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡ غَيۡرَ الۡحَـقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوۡۤا اَهۡوَآءَ قَوۡمٍ قَدۡ ضَلُّوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ وَاَضَلُّوۡا كَثِيۡرًا وَّضَلُّوۡا عَنۡ سَوَآءِ السَّبِيۡلِ(المائدة :77)
Qul ya ahla alkitabi la taghloo fee deenikum ghayra alhaqqi wala tattabi'oo ahwaa qawmin qad dalloo min qablu waadalloo katheeran wadalloo 'an sawai alssabeeli
Sahih International:
Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."
وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَكُمۡ دَخَلًاۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ فَتَزِلَّ قَدَمٌۢ بَعۡدَ ثُبُوۡتِهَا وَتَذُوۡقُوا السُّوۡۤءَ بِمَا صَدَدْتُّمۡ عَنۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِۚ وَ لَـكُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ(النحل :94)
Wala tattakhithoo aymanakum dakhalan baynakum fatazilla qadamun ba'da thubootiha watathooqoo alssooa bima sadadtum 'an sabeeli Allahi walakum 'athabun 'atheemun
Sahih International:
And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ رُوۡحًا مِّنۡ اَمۡرِنَا ؕ مَا كُنۡتَ تَدۡرِىۡ مَا الۡكِتٰبُ وَلَا الۡاِيۡمَانُ وَلٰـكِنۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ نُوۡرًا نَّهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ؕ وَاِنَّكَ لَتَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍۙ(الشورى :52)
Wakathalika awhayna ilayka roohan min amrina ma kunta tadree ma alkitabu wala aleemanu walakin ja'alnahu nooran nahdee bihi man nashao min 'ibadina wainnaka latahdee ila siratin mustaqeemin
Sahih International:
And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
صِرَاطِ اللّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِؕ اَلَاۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِ تَصِيۡرُ الۡاُمُوۡرُ(الشورى :53)
Sirati Allahi allathee lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi ala ila Allahi taseeru alomooru
Sahih International:
The path of Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Unquestionably, to Allah do [all] matters evolve.
فَاسۡتَمۡسِكۡ بِالَّذِىۡۤ اُوۡحِىَ اِلَيۡكَ ۚ اِنَّكَ عَلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍ(الزخرف :43)
Faistamsik biallathee oohiya ilayka innaka 'ala siratin mustaqeemin
Sahih International:
So adhere to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you are on a straight path.
فَلَا اقۡتَحَمَ الۡعَقَبَةَ(البلد :11)
Fala iqtahama al'aqabata
Sahih International:
But he has not broken through the difficult pass.
وَمَاۤ اَدۡرٰٮكَ مَا الۡعَقَبَةُ(البلد :12)
Wama adraka ma al'aqabatu
Sahih International:
And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
