Surah [54] Al-Qamar : 1

اِقۡتَـرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الۡقَمَرُ(القمر :1)

ٱقْتَرَبَتِ
Has come near
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
the Hour
وَٱنشَقَّ
and has split
ٱلْقَمَرُ
the moon

Iqtarabati alssa'atu wainshaqqa alqamaru

Sahih International:

The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two].

Surah [54] Al-Qamar : 2

وَاِنۡ يَّرَوۡا اٰيَةً يُّعۡرِضُوۡا وَيَقُوۡلُوۡا سِحۡرٌ مُّسۡتَمِرٌّ(القمر :2)

وَإِن
And if
يَرَوْا۟
they see
ءَايَةً
a Sign
يُعْرِضُوا۟
they turn away
وَيَقُولُوا۟
and say
سِحْرٌ
"Magic
مُّسْتَمِرٌّ
continuing"

Wain yaraw ayatan yu'ridoo wayaqooloo sihrun mustamirrun

Sahih International:

And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic."

Surah [54] Al-Qamar : 3

وَكَذَّبُوۡا وَاتَّبَعُوۡۤا اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ‌ وَكُلُّ اَمۡرٍ مُّسۡتَقِرٌّ(القمر :3)

وَكَذَّبُوا۟
And they denied
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟
and followed
أَهْوَآءَهُمْۚ
their desires
وَكُلُّ
but (for) every
أَمْرٍ
matter
مُّسْتَقِرٌّ
(will be a) settlement

Wakaththaboo waittaba'oo ahwaahum wakullu amrin mustaqirrun

Sahih International:

And they denied and followed their inclinations. But for every matter is a [time of] settlement.

Surah [54] Al-Qamar : 4

وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَنۡۢبَآءِ مَا فِيۡهِ مُزۡدَجَرٌۙ(القمر :4)

وَلَقَدْ
And certainly
جَآءَهُم
has come to them
مِّنَ
of
ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ
the information
مَا
wherein
فِيهِ
wherein
مُزْدَجَرٌ
(is) deterrence

Walaqad jaahum mina alanbai ma feehi muzdajarun

Sahih International:

And there has already come to them of information that in which there is deterrence -

Surah [54] Al-Qamar : 5

حِكۡمَةٌ ۢ بَالِغَةٌ‌ فَمَا تُغۡنِ النُّذُرُۙ(القمر :5)

حِكْمَةٌۢ
Wisdom
بَٰلِغَةٌۖ
perfect
فَمَا
but not
تُغْنِ
will avail
ٱلنُّذُرُ
the warnings

Hikmatun balighatun fama tughnee alnnuthuru

Sahih International:

Extensive wisdom - but warning does not avail [them].
