وَلِكُلٍّ وِّجۡهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيۡهَا ۚ فَاسۡتَبِقُوا الۡخَيۡرٰتِؕ اَيۡنَ مَا تَكُوۡنُوۡا يَاۡتِ بِكُمُ اللّٰهُ جَمِيۡعًا ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌ(البقرة :148)
Walikullin wijhatun huwa muwalleeha faistabiqoo alkhayrati ayna ma takoonoo yati bikumu Allahu jamee'an inna Allaha 'ala kulli shayin qadeerun
Sahih International:
For each [religious following] is a direction toward which it faces. So race to [all that is] good. Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you forth [for judgement] all together. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
وَسَارِعُوۡۤا اِلٰى مَغۡفِرَةٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرۡضُهَا السَّمٰوٰتُ وَالۡاَرۡضُۙ اُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَۙ(آل عمران :133)
Wasari'oo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin 'arduha alssamawatu waalardu o'iddat lilmuttaqeena
Sahih International:
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous
وَجَآءُوۡۤ اَبَاهُمۡ عِشَآءً يَّبۡكُوۡنَؕ(يوسف :16)
Wajaoo abahum 'ishaan yabkoona
Sahih International:
And they came to their father at night, weeping.
قَالُوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَاۤ اِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوۡسُفَ عِنۡدَ مَتَاعِنَا فَاَكَلَهُ الذِّئۡبُۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٍ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صٰدِقِيۡنَ(يوسف :17)
Qaloo ya abana inna thahabna nastabiqu watarakna yoosufa 'inda mata'ina faakalahu alththibu wama anta bimuminin lana walaw kunna sadiqeena
Sahih International:
They said, "O our father, indeed we went racing each other and left Joseph with our possessions, and a wolf ate him. But you would not believe us, even if we were truthful."
وَاسۡتَبَقَا الۡبَابَ وَقَدَّتۡ قَمِيۡصَهٗ مِنۡ دُبُرٍ وَّاَلۡفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَا الۡبَابِؕ قَالَتۡ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنۡ اَرَادَ بِاَهۡلِكَ سُوۡۤءًا اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ يُّسۡجَنَ اَوۡ عَذَابٌ اَلِيۡمٌ(يوسف :25)
Waistabaqa albaba waqaddat qameesahu min duburin waalfaya sayyidaha lada albabi qalat ma jazao man arada biahlika sooan illa an yusjana aw 'athabun aleemun
Sahih International:
And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِىۡ الۡخَيۡـرٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سٰبِقُوۡنَ(المؤمنون :61)
Olaika yusari'oona fee alkhayrati wahum laha sabiqoona
Sahih International:
It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.
وَلَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَـطَمَسۡنَا عَلٰٓى اَعۡيُنِهِمۡ فَاسۡتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَاَنّٰى يُبۡصِرُوۡنَ(يس :66)
Walaw nashao latamasna 'ala a'yunihim faistabaqoo alssirata faanna yubsiroona
Sahih International:
And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see?
