وَلِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَاۡخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَةً وَّلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ(الأعراف :34)
Walikulli ommatin ajalun faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona sa'atan wala yastaqdimoona
Sahih International:
And for every nation is a [specified] term. So when their time has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ كَاَنۡ لَّمۡ يَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنَ النَّهَارِ يَتَعَارَفُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهُمۡؕ قَدۡ خَسِرَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَذَّبُوۡا بِلِقَآءِ اللّٰهِ وَمَا كَانُوۡا مُهۡتَدِيۡنَ(يونس :45)
Wayawma yahshuruhum kaan lam yalbathoo illa sa'atan mina alnnahari yata'arafoona baynahum qad khasira allatheena kaththaboo biliqai Allahi wama kanoo muhtadeena
Sahih International:
And on the Day when He will gather them, [it will be] as if they had not remained [in the world] but an hour of the day, [and] they will know each other. Those will have lost who denied the meeting with Allah and were not guided
قُلْ لَّاۤ اَمۡلِكُ لِنَفۡسِىۡ ضَرًّا وَّلَا نَفۡعًا اِلَّا مَا شَآءَ اللّٰهُؕ لِكُلِّ اُمَّةٍ اَجَلٌؕ اِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمۡ فَلَا يَسۡتَـاخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَةً وَّلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ(يونس :49)
Qul la amliku linafsee darran wala naf'an illa ma shaa Allahu likulli ommatin ajalun itha jaa ajaluhum fala yastakhiroona sa'atan wala yastaqdimoona
Sahih International:
Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allah should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]."
وَلَوۡ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلۡمِهِمۡ مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيۡهَا مِنۡ دَآبَّةٍ وَّلٰـكِنۡ يُّؤَخِّرُهُمۡ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَجَلُهُمۡ لَا يَسۡتَـاۡخِرُوۡنَ سَاعَةً وَّلَا يَسۡتَقۡدِمُوۡنَ(النحل :61)
Walaw yuakhithu Allahu alnnasa bithulmihim ma taraka 'alayha min dabbatin walakin yuakhkhiruhum ila ajalin musamman faitha jaa ajaluhum la yastakhiroona sa'atan wala yastaqdimoona
Sahih International:
And if Allah were to impose blame on the people for their wrongdoing, He would not have left upon the earth any creature, but He defers them for a specified term. And when their term has come, they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it].
اَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَانِتٌ اٰنَآءَ الَّيۡلِ سَاجِدًا وَّقَآٮِٕمًا يَّحۡذَرُ الۡاٰخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُوۡا رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهٖؕ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِى الَّذِيۡنَ يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ لَا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَؕ اِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ اُولُوا الۡاَلۡبَابِ(الزمر :9)
Amman huwa qanitun anaa allayli sajidan waqaiman yahtharu alakhirata wayarjoo rahmata rabbihi qul hal yastawee allatheena ya'lamoona waallatheena la ya'lamoona innama yatathakkaru oloo alalbabi
Sahih International:
Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.
فَاصۡبِرۡ كَمَا صَبَرَ اُولُوا الۡعَزۡمِ مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلْ لَّهُمۡؕ كَاَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَ مَا يُوۡعَدُوۡنَۙ لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوۡۤا اِلَّا سَاعَةً مِّنۡ نَّهَارٍ ؕ بَلٰغٌ ۚ فَهَلۡ يُهۡلَكُ اِلَّا الۡقَوۡمُ الۡفٰسِقُوۡنَ(الأحقاف :35)
Faisbir kama sabara oloo al'azmi mina alrrusuli wala tasta'jil lahum kaannahum yawma yarawna ma yoo'adoona lam yalbathoo illa sa'atan min naharin balaghun fahal yuhlaku illa alqawmu alfasiqoona
Sahih International:
So be patient, [O Muhammad], as were those of determination among the messengers and do not be impatient for them. It will be - on the Day they see that which they are promised - as though they had not remained [in the world] except an hour of a day. [This is] notification. And will [any] be destroyed except the defiantly disobedient people?
