أَرَءَيْتَ
Have you seen
ٱلَّذِى
the one who
يُكَذِّبُ
denies
بِٱلدِّينِ
the Judgment?
Ara-aital lazee yu kazzibu bid deen
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?
فَذَٰلِكَ
Then that
ٱلَّذِى
(is) the one who
يَدُعُّ
repulses
ٱلْيَتِيمَ
the orphan
Fa zaalikal lazi yadu'ul-yateem
For that is the one who drives away the orphan.
وَلَا
And (does) not
يَحُضُّ
feel the urge
عَلَىٰ
to
طَعَامِ
feed
ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
the poor
Wa la ya huddu 'alaa ta'amil miskeen
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
فَوَيْلٌ
So woe
لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
to those who pray
Fa wai lul-lil mu salleen
So woe to those who pray .
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
هُمْ
[they]
عَن
of
صَلَاتِهِمْ
their prayers
سَاهُونَ
(are) neglectful
Al lazeena hum 'an salaatihim sahoon
[But] who are heedless of their prayer.
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
هُمْ
[they]
يُرَآءُونَ
make show
Al lazeena hum yuraa-oon
Those who make show [of their deeds]
وَيَمْنَعُونَ
And they deny
ٱلْمَاعُونَ
[the] small kindness
Wa yamna'oonal ma'oon
And withhold [simple] assistance.
