وَكِتٰبٍ مَّسْطُوْرٍۙ ( الطور: ٢ )
wakitābin
وَكِتَٰبٍ
And by (the) Book
masṭūrin
مَّسْطُورٍ
written
And [by] a Book inscribed
فِيْ رَقٍّ مَّنْشُوْرٍۙ ( الطور: ٣ )

In
raqqin
رَقٍّ
parchment
manshūrin
مَّنشُورٍ
unrolled
In parchment spread open
وَّالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُوْرِۙ ( الطور: ٤ )
wal-bayti
وَٱلْبَيْتِ
By the House
l-maʿmūri
ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
frequented
And [by] the frequented House
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوْعِۙ ( الطور: ٥ )
wal-saqfi
وَٱلسَّقْفِ
By the roof
l-marfūʿi
ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
raised high
And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُوْرِۙ ( الطور: ٦ )
wal-baḥri
وَٱلْبَحْرِ
By the sea
l-masjūri
ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
filled
And [by] the sea set on fire,
اِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌۙ ( الطور: ٧ )
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
ʿadhāba
عَذَابَ
(the) punishment
rabbika
رَبِّكَ
(of) your Lord
lawāqiʿun
لَوَٰقِعٌ
(will) surely occur
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.
مَّا لَهٗ مِنْ دَافِعٍۙ ( الطور: ٨ )
mā
مَّا
Not
lahu
لَهُۥ
for it
min
مِن
any
dāfiʿin
دَافِعٍ
preventer
Of it there is no preventer.
يَّوْمَ تَمُوْرُ السَّمَاۤءُ مَوْرًاۙ ( الطور: ٩ )
yawma
يَوْمَ
(On the) Day
tamūru
تَمُورُ
will shake
l-samāu
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
the heaven
mawran
مَوْرًا
(with violent) shake
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion
وَّتَسِيْرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًاۗ ( الطور: ١٠ )
watasīru
وَتَسِيرُ
And will move away
l-jibālu
ٱلْجِبَالُ
the mountains
sayran
سَيْرًا
(with an awful) movement
And the mountains will pass on, departing –
