ثُمَّ اَمَاتَهٗ فَاَقْبَرَهٗۙ ( عبس: ٢١ )

أَمَاتَهُۥ
He causes him to die
Il l’a fait mourir
fa-aqbarahu
فَأَقْبَرَهُۥ
and provides a grave for him
et a ensuite désigné (pour) lui une tombe.
puis Il lui donne la mort et le met au tombeau;
ثُمَّ اِذَا شَاۤءَ اَنْشَرَهٗۗ ( عبس: ٢٢ )

He wills
Il veut,
ansharahu
أَنشَرَهُۥ
He will resurrect him
Il le ressuscitera.
puis Il le ressuscitera quand Il voudra.
كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَآ اَمَرَهٗۗ ( عبس: ٢٣ )

Eh bien non! [L'homme] n'accomplit pas ce qu'Il lui commande.
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْاِنْسَانُ اِلٰى طَعَامِهٖٓ ۙ ( عبس: ٢٤ )

فَلْيَنظُرِ
Then let look
Que regarde donc
l-insānu
ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
the man
l’humain
ṭaʿāmihi
طَعَامِهِۦٓ
his food
sa nourriture :
Que l'homme considère donc sa nourriture:
اَنَّا صَبَبْنَا الْمَاۤءَ صَبًّاۙ ( عبس: ٢٥ )
ṣababnā
صَبَبْنَا
[We] poured down
avons versé
l-māa
ٱلْمَآءَ
the water
l’eau
ṣabban
صَبًّا
(in) abundance
(avec) versage
C'est Nous qui versons l'eau abondante,
ثُمَّ شَقَقْنَا الْاَرْضَ شَقًّاۙ ( عبس: ٢٦ )

شَقَقْنَا
We cleaved
avons fendu
l-arḍa
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the earth
la terre
shaqqan
شَقًّا
splitting
(avec) fendage
puis Nous fendons la terre par fissures
فَاَنْۢبَتْنَا فِيْهَا حَبًّاۙ ( عبس: ٢٧ )
fa-anbatnā
فَأَنۢبَتْنَا
Then We caused to grow
et avons ensuite fait pousser

فِيهَا
therein
en elle
ḥabban
حَبًّا
grain
graines
et y faisons pousser grains,
وَّعِنَبًا وَّقَضْبًاۙ ( عبس: ٢٨ )
waʿinaban
وَعِنَبًا
And grapes
et vigne
waqaḍban
وَقَضْبًا
and green vegetables
et herbage
وَّزَيْتُوْنًا وَّنَخْلًاۙ ( عبس: ٢٩ )
wazaytūnan
وَزَيْتُونًا
And olive
et olivier
wanakhlan
وَنَخْلًا
and date-palms
et dattier
وَّحَدَاۤئِقَ غُلْبًا ( عبس: ٣٠ )
waḥadāiqa
وَحَدَآئِقَ
And gardens
et des jardins entourés de murs
ghul'ban
غُلْبًا
(of) thick foliage
