اَفَمَنۡ كَانَ عَلٰى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنۡ رَّبِّهٖ وَيَتۡلُوۡهُ شَاهِدٌ مِّنۡهُ وَمِنۡ قَبۡلِهٖ كِتٰبُ مُوۡسٰٓى اِمَامًا وَّرَحۡمَةً ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ بِهٖ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكۡفُرۡ بِهٖ مِنَ الۡاَحۡزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوۡعِدُهٗ ۚ فَلَا تَكُ فِىۡ مِرۡيَةٍ مِّنۡهُ ۚ اِنَّهُ الۡحَـقُّ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ وَلٰـكِنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ(هود :17)
Afaman kana 'ala bayyinatin min rabbihi wayatloohu shahidun minhu wamin qablihi kitabu moosa imaman warahmatan olaika yuminoona bihi waman yakfur bihi mina alahzabi faalnnaru maw'iduhu fala taku fee miryatin minhu innahu alhaqqu min rabbika walakinna akthara alnnasi la yuminoona
Sahih International:
So is one who [stands] upon a clear evidence from his Lord [like the aforementioned]? And a witness from Him follows it, and before it was the Scripture of Moses to lead and as mercy. Those [believers in the former revelations] believe in the Qur'an. But whoever disbelieves in it from the [various] factions - the Fire is his promised destination. So be not in doubt about it. Indeed, it is the truth from your Lord, but most of the people do not believe.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ اٰتَيۡنٰهُمُ الۡكِتٰبَ يَفۡرَحُوۡنَ بِمَاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ وَمِنَ الۡاَحۡزَابِ مَنۡ يُّـنۡكِرُ بَعۡضَهٗؕ قُلۡ اِنَّمَاۤ اُمِرۡتُ اَنۡ اَعۡبُدَ اللّٰهَ وَلَاۤ اُشۡرِكَ بِهٖؕ اِلَيۡهِ اَدۡعُوۡا وَاِلَيۡهِ مَاٰبِ(الرعد :36)
Waallatheena ataynahumu alkitaba yafrahoona bima onzila ilayka wamina alahzabi man yunkiru ba'dahu qul innama omirtu an a'buda Allaha wala oshrika bihi ilayhi ad'oo wailayhi maabi
Sahih International:
And [the believers among] those to whom We have given the [previous] Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], but among the [opposing] factions are those who deny part of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate [anything] with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."
فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا مِنۡ مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيۡمٍ(مريم :37)
Faikhtalafa alahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min mashhadi yawmin 'atheemin
Sahih International:
Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day.
وَلَمَّا رَاَ الۡمُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ الۡاَحۡزَابَ ۙ قَالُوۡا هٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ وَ صَدَقَ اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوۡلُهٗ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمۡ اِلَّاۤ اِيۡمَانًـا وَّتَسۡلِيۡمًا(الأحزاب :22)
Walamma raa almuminoona alahzaba qaloo hatha ma wa'adana Allahu warasooluhu wasadaqa Allahu warasooluhu wama zadahum illa eemanan watasleeman
Sahih International:
And when the believers saw the companies, they said, "This is what Allah and His Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger spoke the truth." And it increased them only in faith and acceptance.
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا نِعۡمَةَ اللّٰهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اِذۡ جَآءَتۡكُمۡ جُنُوۡدٌ فَاَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ رِيۡحًا وَّجُنُوۡدًا لَّمۡ تَرَوۡهَا ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ بَصِيۡرًا(الأحزاب :9)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo othkuroo ni'mata Allahi 'alaykum ith jaatkum junoodun faarsalna 'alayhim reehan wajunoodan lam tarawha wakana Allahu bima ta'maloona baseeran
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, remember the favor of Allah upon you when armies came to [attack] you and We sent upon them a wind and armies [of angels] you did not see. And ever is Allah, of what you do, Seeing.
جُنۡدٌ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُوۡمٌ مِّنَ الۡاَحۡزَابِ(ص :11)
Jundun ma hunalika mahzoomun mina alahzabi
Sahih International:
[They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers].
وَثَمُوۡدُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوۡطٍ وَّاَصۡحٰبُ لْئَیْكَةِ ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ(ص :13)
Wathamoodu waqawmu lootin waashabu alaykati olaika alahzabu
Sahih International:
And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.
وَقَالَ الَّذِىۡۤ اٰمَنَ يٰقَوۡمِ اِنِّىۡۤ اَخَافُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ مِّثۡلَ يَوۡمِ الۡاَحۡزَابِۙ(غافر :30)
Waqala allathee amana ya qawmi innee akhafu 'alaykum mithla yawmi alahzabi
Sahih International:
And he who believed said, "O my people, indeed I fear for you [a fate] like the day of the companies -
كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوۡحٍ وَّ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ وَهَمَّتۡ كُلُّ اُمَّةٍۢ بِرَسُوۡلِهِمۡ لِيَاۡخُذُوۡهُ ؕ وَجَادَلُوۡا بِالۡبَاطِلِ لِيُدۡحِضُوۡا بِهِ الۡحَقَّ فَاَخَذۡتُهُمۡ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ(غافر :5)
Kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin waalahzabu min ba'dihim wahammat kullu ommatin birasoolihim liyakhuthoohu wajadaloo bialbatili liyudhidoo bihi alhaqqa faakhathtuhum fakayfa kana 'iqabi
Sahih International:
The people of Noah denied before them and the [disbelieving] factions after them, and every nation intended [a plot] for their messenger to seize him, and they disputed by [using] falsehood to [attempt to] invalidate thereby the truth. So I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.
فَاخۡتَلَفَ الۡاَحۡزَابُ مِنۡۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۚ فَوَيۡلٌ لِّلَّذِيۡنَ ظَلَمُوۡا مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمٍ اَلِيۡمٍ(الزخرف :65)
Faikhtalafa alahzabu min baynihim fawaylun lillatheena thalamoo min 'athabi yawmin aleemin
Sahih International:
But the denominations from among them differed [and separated], so woe to those who have wronged from the punishment of a painful Day.
