يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡا بِطَانَةً مِّنۡ دُوۡنِكُمۡ لَا يَاۡلُوۡنَكُمۡ خَبَالًا ؕ وَدُّوۡا مَا عَنِتُّمۡۚ قَدۡ بَدَتِ الۡبَغۡضَآءُ مِنۡ اَفۡوَاهِهِمۡ ۖۚ وَمَا تُخۡفِىۡ صُدُوۡرُهُمۡ اَكۡبَرُؕ قَدۡ بَيَّنَّا لَـكُمُ الۡاٰيٰتِ اِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ(آل عمران :118)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo bitanatan min doonikum la yaloonakum khabalan waddoo ma 'anittum qad badati albaghdao min afwahihim wama tukhfee sudooruhum akbaru qad bayyanna lakumu alayati in kuntum ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, do not take as intimates those other than yourselves, for they will not spare you [any] ruin. They wish you would have hardship. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made clear to you the signs, if you will use reason.
وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا نَصٰرٰٓى اَخَذۡنَا مِيۡثَاقَهُمۡ فَنَسُوۡا حَظًّا مِّمَّا ذُكِّرُوۡا بِهٖ ۖ فَاَغۡرَيۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ ؕ وَسَوۡفَ يُنَبِّئُهُمُ اللّٰهُ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَصۡنَعُوۡنَ(المائدة :14)
Wamina allatheena qaloo inna nasara akhathna meethaqahum fanasoo haththan mimma thukkiroo bihi faaghrayna baynahumu al'adawata waalbaghdaa ila yawmi alqiyamati wasawfa yunabbiohumu Allahu bima kanoo yasna'oona
Sahih International:
And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were reminded. So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do.
وَقَالَتِ الۡيَهُوۡدُ يَدُ اللّٰهِ مَغۡلُوۡلَةٌ ؕ غُلَّتۡ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَلُعِنُوۡا بِمَا قَالُوۡا ۘ بَلۡ يَدٰهُ مَبۡسُوۡطَتٰنِ ۙ يُنۡفِقُ كَيۡفَ يَشَآءُ ؕ وَلَيَزِيۡدَنَّ كَثِيۡرًا مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاۤ اُنۡزِلَ اِلَيۡكَ مِنۡ رَّبِّكَ طُغۡيَانًا وَّكُفۡرًا ؕ وَاَ لۡقَيۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةَ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءَ اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ ؕ كُلَّمَاۤ اَوۡقَدُوۡا نَارًا لِّلۡحَرۡبِ اَطۡفَاَهَا اللّٰهُ ۙ وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَسَادًا ؕ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الۡمُفۡسِدِيۡنَ(المائدة :64)
Waqalati alyahoodu yadu Allahi maghloolatun ghullat aydeehim walu'inoo bima qaloo bal yadahu mabsootatani yunfiqu kayfa yashao walayazeedanna katheeran minhum ma onzila ilayka min rabbika tughyanan wakufran waalqayna baynahumu al'adawata waalbaghdaa ila yawmi alqiyamati kullama awqadoo naran lilharbi atfaaha Allahu wayas'awna fee alardi fasadan waAllahu la yuhibbu almufsideena
Sahih International:
And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.
وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ مِّنۡ غِلٍّ تَجۡرِىۡ مِنۡ تَحۡتِهِمُ الۡاَنۡهٰرُۚ وَقَالُوا الۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ هَدٰٮنَا لِهٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهۡتَدِىَ لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ هَدٰٮنَا اللّٰهُ ۚ لَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالۡحَـقِّ ؕ وَنُوۡدُوۡۤا اَنۡ تِلۡكُمُ الۡجَـنَّةُ اُوۡرِثۡتُمُوۡهَا بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ(الأعراف :43)
Wanaza'na ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin tajree min tahtihimu alanharu waqaloo alhamdu lillahi allathee hadana lihatha wama kunna linahtadiya lawla an hadana Allahu laqad jaat rusulu rabbina bialhaqqi wanoodoo an tilkumu aljannatu oorithtumooha bima kuntum ta'maloona
Sahih International:
And We will have removed whatever is within their breasts of resentment, [while] flowing beneath them are rivers. And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth." And they will be called, "This is Paradise, which you have been made to inherit for what you used to do."
وَنَزَعۡنَا مَا فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ مِّنۡ غِلٍّ اِخۡوَانًا عَلٰى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقٰبِلِيۡنَ(الحجر :47)
Wanaza'na ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan 'ala sururin mutaqabileena
Sahih International:
And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.
وَالَّذِيۡنَ جَآءُوۡ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ رَبَّنَا اغۡفِرۡ لَـنَا وَلِاِخۡوَانِنَا الَّذِيۡنَ سَبَقُوۡنَا بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا رَبَّنَاۤ اِنَّكَ رَءُوۡفٌ رَّحِيۡمٌ(الحشر :10)
Waallatheena jaoo min ba'dihim yaqooloona rabbana ighfir lana waliikhwanina allatheena sabaqoona bialeemani wala taj'al fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheemun
Sahih International:
And [there is a share for] those who came after them, saying, "Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful."
قَدۡ كَانَتۡ لَـكُمۡ اُسۡوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِىۡۤ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَالَّذِيۡنَ مَعَهٗۚ اِذۡ قَالُوۡا لِقَوۡمِهِمۡ اِنَّا بُرَءٰٓؤُا مِنۡكُمۡ وَمِمَّا تَعۡبُدُوۡنَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ كَفَرۡنَا بِكُمۡ وَبَدَا بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَكُمُ الۡعَدَاوَةُ وَالۡبَغۡضَآءُ اَبَدًا حَتّٰى تُؤۡمِنُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَحۡدَهٗۤ اِلَّا قَوۡلَ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ لِاَبِيۡهِ لَاَسۡتَغۡفِرَنَّ لَـكَ وَمَاۤ اَمۡلِكُ لَـكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ ؕ رَبَّنَا عَلَيۡكَ تَوَكَّلۡنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ اَنَـبۡنَا وَاِلَيۡكَ الۡمَصِيۡرُ(الممتحنة :4)
Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatun fee ibraheema waallatheena ma'ahu ith qaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimma ta'budoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabada baynana wabaynakumu al'adawatu waalbaghdao abadan hatta tuminoo biAllahi wahdahu illa qawla ibraheema liabeehi laastaghfiranna laka wama amliku laka mina Allahi min shayin rabbana 'alayka tawakkalna wailayka anabna wailayka almaseeru
Sahih International:
There has already been for you an excellent pattern in Abraham and those with him, when they said to their people, "Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah . We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone" except for the saying of Abraham to his father, "I will surely ask forgiveness for you, but I have not [power to do] for you anything against Allah . Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination.
اِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْاَبْتَرُ(الكوثر :3)
Inna shaniaka huwa alabtaru
Sahih International:
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.
