حُرِّمَتۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ اُمَّهٰتُكُمۡ وَبَنٰتُكُمۡ وَاَخَوٰتُكُمۡ وَعَمّٰتُكُمۡ وَخٰلٰتُكُمۡ وَبَنٰتُ الۡاٰخِ وَبَنٰتُ الۡاُخۡتِ وَاُمَّهٰتُكُمُ الّٰتِىۡۤ اَرۡضَعۡنَكُمۡ وَاَخَوٰتُكُمۡ مِّنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَ اُمَّهٰتُ نِسَآٮِٕكُمۡ وَرَبَآٮِٕبُكُمُ الّٰتِىۡ فِىۡ حُجُوۡرِكُمۡ مِّنۡ نِّسَآٮِٕكُمُ الّٰتِىۡ دَخَلۡتُمۡ بِهِنَّ فَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تَكُوۡنُوۡا دَخَلۡتُمۡ بِهِنَّ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَحَلَاۤٮِٕلُ اَبۡنَآٮِٕكُمُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ اَصۡلَابِكُمۡۙ وَاَنۡ تَجۡمَعُوۡا بَيۡنَ الۡاُخۡتَيۡنِ اِلَّا مَا قَدۡ سَلَفَؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا ۙ(النساء :23)
Hurrimat 'alaykum ommahatukum wabanatukum waakhawatukum wa'ammatukum wakhalatukum wabanatu alakhi wabanatu alokhti waommahatukumu allatee arda'nakum waakhawatukum mina alrrada'ati waommahatu nisaikum warabaibukumu allatee fee hujoorikum min nisaikumu allatee dakhaltum bihinna fain lam takoonoo dakhaltum bihinna fala junaha 'alaykum wahalailu abnaikumu allatheena min aslabikum waan tajma'oo bayna alokhtayni illa ma qad salafa inna Allaha kana ghafooran raheeman
Sahih International:
Prohibited to you [for marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters, your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
وَجَعَلُوۡا لِلّٰهِ شُرَكَآءَ الۡجِنَّ وَخَلَقَهُمۡ وَخَرَقُوۡا لَهٗ بَنِيۡنَ وَبَنٰتٍۢ بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٍؕ سُبۡحٰنَهٗ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يَصِفُوۡنَ(الأنعام :100)
Waja'aloo lillahi shurakaa aljinna wakhalaqahum wakharaqoo lahu baneena wabanatin bighayri 'ilmin subhanahu wata'ala 'amma yasifoona
Sahih International:
But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters. Exalted is He and high above what they describe
وَجَآءَهٗ قَوۡمُهٗ يُهۡرَعُوۡنَ اِلَيۡهِ ؕ وَمِنۡ قَبۡلُ كَانُوۡا يَعۡمَلُوۡنَ السَّيِّاٰتِ ؕ قَالَ يٰقَوۡمِ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ بَنٰتِىۡ هُنَّ اَطۡهَرُ لَـكُمۡ ۚ فَاتَّقُوۡا اللّٰهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُوۡنِ فِىۡ ضَيۡفِىۡ ؕ اَلَيۡسَ مِنۡكُمۡ رَجُلٌ رَّشِيۡدٌ(هود :78)
Wajaahu qawmuhu yuhra'oona ilayhi wamin qablu kanoo ya'maloona alssayyiati qala ya qawmi haolai banatee hunna atharu lakum faittaqoo Allaha wala tukhzooni fee dayfee alaysa minkum rajulun rasheedun
Sahih International:
And his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason?"
قَالُوۡا لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا لَـنَا فِىۡ بَنٰتِكَ مِنۡ حَقٍّ ۚ وَاِنَّكَ لَـتَعۡلَمُ مَا نُرِيۡدُ(هود :79)
Qaloo laqad 'alimta ma lana fee banatika min haqqin wainnaka lata'lamu ma nureedu
Sahih International:
They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want."
قَالَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ بَنٰتِىۡۤ اِنۡ كُنۡـتُمۡ فٰعِلِيۡنَؕ(الحجر :71)
Qala haolai banatee in kuntum fa'ileena
Sahih International:
[Lot] said, "These are my daughters - if you would be doers [of lawful marriage]."
وَيَجۡعَلُوۡنَ لِلّٰهِ الۡبَـنٰتِ سُبۡحٰنَهٗۙ وَلَهُمۡ مَّا يَشۡتَهُوۡنَ(النحل :57)
Wayaj'aloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona
Sahih International:
And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire.
قَالَ اِنِّىۡۤ اُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ اُنۡكِحَكَ اِحۡدَى ابۡنَتَىَّ هٰتَيۡنِ عَلٰٓى اَنۡ تَاۡجُرَنِىۡ ثَمٰنِىَ حِجَجٍۚ فَاِنۡ اَتۡمَمۡتَ عَشۡرًا فَمِنۡ عِنۡدِكَۚ وَمَاۤ اُرِيۡدُ اَنۡ اَشُقَّ عَلَيۡكَؕ سَتَجِدُنِىۡۤ اِنۡ شَآءَ اللّٰهُ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيۡنَ(القصص :27)
Qala innee oreedu an onkihaka ihda ibnatayya hatayni 'ala an tajuranee thamaniya hijajin fain atmamta 'ashran famin 'indika wama oreedu an ashuqqa 'alayka satajidunee in shaa Allahu mina alssaliheena
Sahih International:
He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."
يٰۤاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ اِنَّاۤ اَحۡلَلۡنَا لَـكَ اَزۡوَاجَكَ الّٰتِىۡۤ اٰتَيۡتَ اُجُوۡرَهُنَّ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ يَمِيۡنُكَ مِمَّاۤ اَفَآءَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمِّكَ وَبَنٰتِ عَمّٰتِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خَالِكَ وَبَنٰتِ خٰلٰتِكَ الّٰتِىۡ هَاجَرۡنَ مَعَكَ وَامۡرَاَةً مُّؤۡمِنَةً اِنۡ وَّهَبَتۡ نَفۡسَهَا لِلنَّبِىِّ اِنۡ اَرَادَ النَّبِىُّ اَنۡ يَّسۡتَـنۡكِحَهَا خَالِصَةً لَّـكَ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ ؕ قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا فَرَضۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ فِىۡۤ اَزۡوَاجِهِمۡ وَمَا مَلَـكَتۡ اَيۡمَانُهُمۡ لِكَيۡلَا يَكُوۡنَ عَلَيۡكَ حَرَجٌ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا(الأحزاب :50)
Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu inna ahlalna laka azwajaka allatee atayta ojoorahunna wama malakat yameenuka mimma afaa Allahu 'alayka wabanati 'ammika wabanati 'ammatika wabanati khalika wabanati khalatika allatee hajarna ma'aka waimraatan muminatan in wahabat nafsaha lilnnabiyyi in arada alnnabiyyu an yastankihaha khalisatan laka min dooni almumineena qad 'alimna ma faradna 'alayhim fee azwajihim wama malakat aymanuhum likayla yakoona 'alayka harajun wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
Sahih International:
O Prophet, indeed We have made lawful to you your wives to whom you have given their due compensation and those your right hand possesses from what Allah has returned to you [of captives] and the daughters of your paternal uncles and the daughters of your paternal aunts and the daughters of your maternal uncles and the daughters of your maternal aunts who emigrated with you and a believing woman if she gives herself to the Prophet [and] if the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] only for you, excluding the [other] believers. We certainly know what We have made obligatory upon them concerning their wives and those their right hands possess, [but this is for you] in order that there will be upon you no discomfort. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ قُلْ لِّاَزۡوَاجِكَ وَبَنٰتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ يُدۡنِيۡنَ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِنۡ جَلَابِيۡبِهِنَّ ؕ ذٰ لِكَ اَدۡنٰٓى اَنۡ يُّعۡرَفۡنَ فَلَا يُؤۡذَيۡنَ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرًا رَّحِيۡمًا(الأحزاب :59)
Ya ayyuha alnnabiyyu qul liazwajika wabanatika wanisai almumineena yudneena 'alayhinna min jalabeebihinna thalika adna an yu'rafna fala yuthayna wakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman
Sahih International:
O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
اَصۡطَفَى الۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى الۡبَنِيۡنَؕ(الصافات :153)
