اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ تَوَلَّوۡا مِنۡكُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡتَقَى الۡجَمۡعٰنِۙ اِنَّمَا اسۡتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ بِبَعۡضِ مَا كَسَبُوۡا ۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَفَا اللّٰهُ عَنۡهُمۡؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوۡرٌ حَلِيۡمٌ(آل عمران :155)
Inna allatheena tawallaw minkum yawma iltaqa aljam'ani innama istazallahumu alshshaytanu biba'di ma kasaboo walaqad 'afa Allahu 'anhum inna Allaha ghafoorun haleemun
Sahih International:
Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
وَمَاۤ اَصَابَكُمۡ يَوۡمَ الۡتَقَى الۡجَمۡعٰنِ فَبِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَلِيَعۡلَمَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَۙ(آل عمران :166)
Wama asabakum yawma iltaqa aljam'ani fabiithni Allahi waliya'lama almumineena
Sahih International:
And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers.
وَمَاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنَا عَلٰى قَوۡمِهٖ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهٖ مِنۡ جُنۡدٍ مِّنَ السَّمَآءِ وَمَا كُـنَّا مُنۡزِلِيۡنَ(يس :28)
Wama anzalna 'ala qawmihi min ba'dihi min jundin mina alssamai wama kunna munzileena
Sahih International:
And We did not send down upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, nor would We have done so.
وَاتَّخَذُوۡا مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ اٰلِهَةً لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنۡصَرُوۡنَؕ(يس :74)
Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan la'allahum yunsaroona
Sahih International:
But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped.
لَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَ نَصۡرَهُمۡۙ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُنۡدٌ مُّحۡضَرُوۡنَ(يس :75)
La yastatee'oona nasrahum wahum lahum jundun muhdaroona
Sahih International:
They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance.
وَاِنَّ جُنۡدَنَا لَهُمُ الۡغٰلِبُوۡنَ(الصافات :173)
Wainna jundana lahumu alghaliboona
Sahih International:
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.
وَاتۡرُكِ الۡبَحۡرَ رَهۡوًاؕ اِنَّهُمۡ جُنۡدٌ مُّغۡرَقُوۡنَ(الدخان :24)
Waotruki albahra rahwan innahum jundun mughraqoona
Sahih International:
And leave the sea in stillness. Indeed, they are an army to be drowned."
فَاَخَذۡنٰهُ وَجُنُوۡدَهٗ فَنَبَذۡنٰهُمۡ فِى الۡيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيۡمٌؕ(الذاريات :40)
Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun
Sahih International:
So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.
