يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِيْمٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيْ وَالْاَقْدَامِۚ   ( الرحمن: ٤١ )

yuʿ'rafu
يُعْرَفُ
Will be known
l-muj'rimūna
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
the criminals
bisīmāhum
بِسِيمَٰهُمْ
by their marks
fayu'khadhu
فَيُؤْخَذُ
and will be seized
bil-nawāṣī
بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى
by the forelocks
wal-aqdāmi
وَٱلْأَقْدَامِ
and the feet

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet.

Tafsir

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ   ( الرحمن: ٤٢ )

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Tafsir

هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيْ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَۘ   ( الرحمن: ٤٣ )

hādhihi
هَٰذِهِۦ
This
jahannamu
جَهَنَّمُ
(is) Hell
allatī
ٱلَّتِى
which
yukadhibu
يُكَذِّبُ
deny
bihā
بِهَا
[of it]
l-muj'rimūna
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
the criminals

This is Hell, which the criminals deny.

Tafsir

يَطُوْفُوْنَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيْمٍ اٰنٍۚ   ( الرحمن: ٤٤ )

yaṭūfūna
يَطُوفُونَ
They will go around
baynahā
بَيْنَهَا
between it
wabayna
وَبَيْنَ
and between
ḥamīmin
حَمِيمٍ
scalding water
ānin
ءَانٍ
heated

They will circulate between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree].

Tafsir

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ ࣖ  ( الرحمن: ٤٥ )

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Tafsir

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ  ( الرحمن: ٤٦ )

waliman
وَلِمَنْ
But for (him) who
khāfa
خَافَ
fears
maqāma
مَقَامَ
(the) standing
rabbihi
رَبِّهِۦ
(before) his Lord
jannatāni
جَنَّتَانِ
(are) two gardens

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens –

Tafsir

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ   ( الرحمن: ٤٧ )

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Tafsir

ذَوَاتَآ اَفْنَانٍۚ   ( الرحمن: ٤٨ )

dhawātā
ذَوَاتَآ
Having
afnānin
أَفْنَانٍ
branches

Having [spreading] branches.

Tafsir

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ   ( الرحمن: ٤٩ )

fabi-ayyi
فَبِأَىِّ
So which
ālāi
ءَالَآءِ
(of the) favors
rabbikumā
رَبِّكُمَا
(of) your Lord
tukadhibāni
تُكَذِّبَانِ
will you both deny?

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

Tafsir

فِيْهِمَا عَيْنٰنِ تَجْرِيٰنِۚ   ( الرحمن: ٥٠ )

fīhimā
فِيهِمَا
In both of them
ʿaynāni
عَيْنَانِ
(are) two springs
tajriyāni
تَجْرِيَانِ
flowing

In both of them are two springs, flowing.
