عَمَّ
About what
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
are they asking one another?
'Amma Yatasaa-aloon
About what are they asking one another?
ٱلَّذِى
(About) which
هُمْ
they
فِيهِ
(are) concerning it
مُخْتَلِفُونَ
(in) disagreement
Allazi hum feehi mukh talifoon
That over which they are in disagreement.
ثُمَّ
Then
كَلَّا
Nay!
سَيَعْلَمُونَ
soon they will know
Thumma kallaa sa y'alamoon
Then, no! They are going to know.
أَلَمْ
Have not
نَجْعَلِ
We made
ٱلْأَرْضَ
the earth
مِهَٰدًا
a resting place?
Alam naj'alil arda mihaa da
Have We not made the earth a resting place?
وَٱلْجِبَالَ
And the mountains
أَوْتَادًا
(as) pegs
Wal jibaala au taada
And the mountains as stakes?
وَخَلَقْنَٰكُمْ
And We created you
أَزْوَٰجًا
(in) pairs
Wa khalaq naakum azwaaja
And We created you in pairs.
وَجَعَلْنَا
And We made
نَوْمَكُمْ
your sleep
سُبَاتًا
(for) rest
Waja'alnan naumakum subata
And made your sleep [a means for] rest
وَجَعَلْنَا
And We made
ٱلَّيْلَ
the night
لِبَاسًا
(as) covering
Waja'alnal laila libasa
And made the night as clothing.
