وَاِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْاٰنُ لَا يَسْجُدُوْنَ ۗ ۩ ( الإنشقاق: ٢١ )
wa-idhā
وَإِذَا
And when
quri-a
قُرِئَ
is recited
ʿalayhimu
عَلَيْهِمُ
to them
l-qur'ānu
ٱلْقُرْءَانُ
the Quran
lā
لَا
not
yasjudūna
يَسْجُدُونَ۩
they prostrate?
And when the Quran is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]?
بَلِ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا يُكَذِّبُوْنَۖ ( الإنشقاق: ٢٢ )

بَلِ
Nay!
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
Those who
kafarū
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieved
yukadhibūna
يُكَذِّبُونَ
deny
But those who have disbelieved deny,
وَاللّٰهُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوْعُوْنَۖ ( الإنشقاق: ٢٣ )
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
aʿlamu
أَعْلَمُ
(is) most knowing
bimā
بِمَا
of what
yūʿūna
يُوعُونَ
they keep within themselves
And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves.
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ اَلِيْمٍۙ ( الإنشقاق: ٢٤ )
fabashir'hum
فَبَشِّرْهُم
So give them tidings
biʿadhābin
بِعَذَابٍ
of a punishment
alīmin
أَلِيمٍ
painful
So give them tidings of a painful punishment,
اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ لَهُمْ اَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُوْنٍ ࣖ ( الإنشقاق: ٢٥ )
illā
إِلَّا
Except
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe
waʿamilū
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and do
l-ṣāliḥāti
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
righteous deeds
lahum
لَهُمْ
For them
ajrun
أَجْرٌ
(is) a reward
ghayru
غَيْرُ
never
mamnūnin
مَمْنُونٍۭ
ending
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted.
