اَمۡ تُرِيۡدُوۡنَ اَنۡ تَسۡـَٔـلُوۡا رَسُوۡلَـكُمۡ كَمَا سُٮِٕلَ مُوۡسٰى مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَبَدَّلِ الۡکُفۡرَ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ سَوَآءَ السَّبِيۡلِ(البقرة :108)
Am tureedoona an tasaloo rasoolakum kama suila moosa min qablu waman yatabaddali alkufra bialeemani faqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli
Sahih International:
Or do you intend to ask your Messenger as Moses was asked before? And whoever exchanges faith for disbelief has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way.
وَلِيَعۡلَمَ الَّذِيۡنَ نَافَقُوۡا ۖۚ وَقِيۡلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡا قَاتِلُوۡا فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ اَوِ ادۡفَعُوۡا ۚ قَالُوۡا لَوۡ نَعۡلَمُ قِتَالًا لَّا تَّبَعۡنٰكُمۡؕ هُمۡ لِلۡكُفۡرِ يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ اَقۡرَبُ مِنۡهُمۡ لِلۡاِيۡمَانِۚ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ بِاَفۡوَاهِهِمۡ مَّا لَيۡسَ فِىۡ قُلُوۡبِهِمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَكۡتُمُوۡنَۚ(آل عمران :167)
Waliya'lama allatheena nafaqoo waqeela lahum ta'alaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahi awi idfa'oo qaloo law na'lamu qitalan laittaba'nakum hum lilkufri yawmaithin aqrabu minhum lileemani yaqooloona biafwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim waAllahu a'lamu bima yaktumoona
Sahih International:
And that He might make evident those who are hypocrites. For it was said to them, "Come, fight in the way of Allah or [at least] defend." They said, "If we had known [there would be] fighting, we would have followed you." They were nearer to disbelief that day than to faith, saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts. And Allah is most Knowing of what they conceal -
اِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اشۡتَرَوُا الۡكُفۡرَ بِالۡاِيۡمَانِ لَنۡ يَّضُرُّوا اللّٰهَ شَيۡـــًٔا ۚ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ اَ لِيۡمٌ(آل عمران :177)
Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufra bialeemani lan yadurroo Allaha shayan walahum 'athabun aleemun
Sahih International:
Indeed, those who purchase disbelief [in exchange] for faith - never will they harm Allah at all, and for them is a painful punishment.
فَلَمَّاۤ اَحَسَّ عِيۡسٰى مِنۡهُمُ الۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ اَنۡصَارِىۡۤ اِلَى اللّٰهِؕ قَالَ الۡحَـوَارِيُّوۡنَ نَحۡنُ اَنۡصَارُ اللّٰهِۚ اٰمَنَّا بِاللّٰهِۚ وَاشۡهَدۡ بِاَنَّا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :52)
Falamma ahassa 'eesa minhumu alkufra qala man ansaree ila Allahi qala alhawariyyoona nahnu ansaru Allahi amanna biAllahi waishhad bianna muslimoona
Sahih International:
But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him].
وَلَا يَاۡمُرَكُمۡ اَنۡ تَتَّخِذُوا الۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةَ وَالنَّبِيّٖنَ اَرۡبَابًا ؕ اَيَاۡمُرُكُمۡ بِالۡكُفۡرِ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ اَنۡـتُمۡ مُّسۡلِمُوۡنَ(آل عمران :80)
Wala yamurakum an tattakhithoo almalaikata waalnnabiyyeena arbaban ayamurukum bialkufri ba'da ith antum muslimoona
Sahih International:
Nor could he order you to take the angels and prophets as lords. Would he order you to disbelief after you had been Muslims?
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الرَّسُوۡلُ لَا يَحۡزُنۡكَ الَّذِيۡنَ يُسَارِعُوۡنَ فِى الۡكُفۡرِ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِاَ فۡوَاهِهِمۡ وَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِنۡ قُلُوۡبُهُمۡ ۛۚ وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ هَادُوۡا ۛۚ سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِلۡكَذِبِ سَمّٰعُوۡنَ لِقَوۡمٍ اٰخَرِيۡنَۙ لَمۡ يَاۡتُوۡكَؕ يُحَرِّفُوۡنَ الۡـكَلِمَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ مَوَاضِعِهٖۚ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اِنۡ اُوۡتِيۡتُمۡ هٰذَا فَخُذُوۡهُ وَاِنۡ لَّمۡ تُؤۡتَوۡهُ فَاحۡذَرُوۡا ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّرِدِ اللّٰهُ فِتۡنَـتَهٗ فَلَنۡ تَمۡلِكَ لَهٗ مِنَ اللّٰهِ شَيۡــًٔـاؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَمۡ يُرِدِ اللّٰهُ اَنۡ يُّطَهِّرَ قُلُوۡبَهُمۡ ؕ لَهُمۡ فِىۡ الدُّنۡيَا خِزۡىٌ ۚۖ وَّلَهُمۡ فِىۡ الۡاٰخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيۡمٌ(المائدة :41)
Ya ayyuha alrrasoolu la yahzunka allatheena yusari'oona fee alkufri mina allatheena qaloo amanna biafwahihim walam tumin quloobuhum wamina allatheena hadoo samma'oona lilkathibi samma'oona liqawmin akhareena lam yatooka yuharrifoona alkalima min ba'di mawadi'ihi yaqooloona in ooteetum hatha fakhuthoohu wain lam tutawhu faihtharoo waman yuridi Allahu fitnatahu falan tamlika lahu mina Allahi shayan olaika allatheena lam yuridi Allahu an yutahhira quloobahum lahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee alakhirati 'athabun 'atheemun
Sahih International:
O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] usages, saying "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah . Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
وَاِذَا جَآءُوۡكُمۡ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا وَقَدْ دَّخَلُوۡا بِالۡكُفۡرِ وَهُمۡ قَدۡ خَرَجُوۡا بِهٖؕ وَاللّٰهُ اَعۡلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوۡا يَكۡتُمُوۡنَ(المائدة :61)
Waitha jaookum qaloo amanna waqad dakhaloo bialkufri wahum qad kharajoo bihi waAllahu a'lamu bima kanoo yaktumoona
Sahih International:
And when they come to you, they say, "We believe." But they have entered with disbelief [in their hearts], and they have certainly left with it. And Allah is most knowing of what they were concealing.
وَاِنۡ نَّكَثُوۡۤا اَيۡمَانَهُمۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِ عَهۡدِهِمۡ وَطَعَنُوۡا فِىۡ دِيۡـنِكُمۡ فَقَاتِلُوۡۤا اَٮِٕمَّةَ الۡـكُفۡرِۙ اِنَّهُمۡ لَاۤ اَيۡمَانَ لَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَنۡتَهُوۡنَ(التوبة :12)
Wain nakathoo aymanahum min ba'di 'ahdihim wata'anoo fee deenikum faqatiloo aimmata alkufri innahum la aymana lahum la'allahum yantahoona
Sahih International:
And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease.
مَا كَانَ لِلۡمُشۡرِكِيۡنَ اَنۡ يَّعۡمُرُوۡا مَسٰجِدَ اللّٰهِ شٰهِدِيۡنَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ بِالـكُفۡرِؕ اُولٰۤٮِٕكَ حَبِطَتۡ اَعۡمَالُهُمۡ ۖۚ وَ فِى النَّارِ هُمۡ خٰلِدُوۡنَ(التوبة :17)
Ma kana lilmushrikeena an ya'muroo masajida Allahi shahideena 'ala anfusihim bialkufri olaika habitat a'maluhum wafee alnnari hum khalidoona
Sahih International:
It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.
يٰۤاَ يُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَّخِذُوۡۤا اٰبَآءَكُمۡ وَاِخۡوَانَـكُمۡ اَوۡلِيَآءَ اِنِ اسۡتَحَبُّوا الۡـكُفۡرَ عَلَى الۡاِيۡمَانِ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّتَوَلَّهُمۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ فَاُولٰۤٮِٕكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ(التوبة :23)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tattakhithoo abaakum waikhwanakum awliyaa ini istahabboo alkufra 'ala aleemani waman yatawallahum minkum faolaika humu alththalimoona
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, do not take your fathers or your brothers as allies if they have preferred disbelief over belief. And whoever does so among you - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.
