وَاِنۡ كُنۡتُمۡ عَلٰى سَفَرٍ وَّلَمۡ تَجِدُوۡا كَاتِبًا فَرِهٰنٌ مَّقۡبُوۡضَةٌ ؕ فَاِنۡ اَمِنَ بَعۡضُكُمۡ بَعۡضًا فَلۡيُؤَدِّ الَّذِى اؤۡتُمِنَ اَمَانَـتَهٗ وَلۡيَتَّقِ اللّٰهَ رَبَّهٗؕ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُوا الشَّهَادَةَ ؕ وَمَنۡ يَّكۡتُمۡهَا فَاِنَّهٗۤ اٰثِمٌ قَلۡبُهٗؕ وَ اللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُوۡنَ عَلِيۡمٌ(البقرة :283)
Wain kuntum 'ala safarin walam tajidoo katiban farihanun maqboodatun fain amina ba'dukum ba'dan falyuaddi allathee itumina amanatahu walyattaqi Allaha rabbahu wala taktumoo alshshahadata waman yaktumha fainnahu athimun qalbuhu waAllahu bima ta'maloona 'aleemun
Sahih International:
And if you are on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a security deposit [should be] taken. And if one of you entrusts another, then let him who is entrusted discharge his trust [faithfully] and let him fear Allah, his Lord. And do not conceal testimony, for whoever conceals it - his heart is indeed sinful, and Allah is Knowing of what you do.
اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يَاۡمُرُكُمۡ اَنۡ تُؤَدُّوا الۡاَمٰنٰتِ اِلٰٓى اَهۡلِهَا ۙ وَاِذَا حَكَمۡتُمۡ بَيۡنَ النَّاسِ اَنۡ تَحۡكُمُوۡا بِالۡعَدۡلِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُمۡ بِهٖ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ سَمِيۡعًۢا بَصِيۡرًا(النساء :58)
Inna Allaha yamurukum an tuaddoo alamanati ila ahliha waitha hakamtum bayna alnnasi an tahkumoo bial'adli inna Allaha ni'imma ya'ithukum bihi inna Allaha kana samee'an baseeran
Sahih International:
Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.
يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَخُوۡنُوا اللّٰهَ وَالرَّسُوۡلَ وَتَخُوۡنُوۡۤا اَمٰنٰتِكُمۡ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ(الأنفال :27)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takhoonoo Allaha waalrrasoola watakhoonoo amanatikum waantum ta'lamoona
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence].
قَالُوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَا مَا لَـكَ لَا تَاۡمَنَّا عَلٰى يُوۡسُفَ وَاِنَّا لَهٗ لَنٰصِحُوۡنَ(يوسف :11)
Qaloo ya abana ma laka la tamanna 'ala yoosufa wainna lahu lanasihoona
Sahih International:
They said, "O our father, why do you not entrust us with Joseph while indeed, we are to him sincere counselors?
وَقَالَ الۡمَلِكُ ائۡتُوۡنِىۡ بِهٖۤ اَسۡتَخۡلِصۡهُ لِنَفۡسِىۡۚ فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهٗ قَالَ اِنَّكَ الۡيَوۡمَ لَدَيۡنَا مَكِيۡنٌ اَمِيۡنٌ(يوسف :54)
Waqala almaliku itoonee bihi astakhlishu linafsee falamma kallamahu qala innaka alyawma ladayna makeenun ameenun
Sahih International:
And the king said, "Bring him to me; I will appoint him exclusively for myself." And when he spoke to him, he said, "Indeed, you are today established [in position] and trusted."
قَالَ هَلۡ اٰمَنُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ اِلَّا كَمَاۤ اَمِنۡتُكُمۡ عَلٰٓى اَخِيۡهِ مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ فَاللّٰهُ خَيۡرٌ حٰفِظًاۖ وَّهُوَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِيۡنَ(يوسف :64)
Qala hal amanukum 'alayhi illa kama amintukum 'ala akheehi min qablu faAllahu khayrun hafithan wahuwa arhamu alrrahimeena
Sahih International:
He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."
وَالَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ لِاَمٰنٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَاعُوۡنَ(المؤمنون :8)
Waallatheena hum liamanatihim wa'ahdihim ra'oona
Sahih International:
And they who are to their trusts and their promises attentive
قَالَ عِفۡرِيۡتٌ مِّنَ الۡجِنِّ اَنَا اٰتِيۡكَ بِهٖ قَبۡلَ اَنۡ تَقُوۡمَ مِنۡ مَّقَامِكَۚ وَاِنِّىۡ عَلَيۡهِ لَـقَوِىٌّ اَمِيۡنٌ(النمل :39)
Qala 'ifreetun mina aljinni ana ateeka bihi qabla an taqooma min maqamika wainne 'alayhi laqawiyyun ameenun
Sahih International:
A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy."
قَالَتۡ اِحۡدٰٮہُمَا يٰۤاَبَتِ اسْتَاْجِرۡهُ ۖ اِنَّ خَيۡرَ مَنِ اسۡتَـاْجَرۡتَ الۡقَوِىُّ الۡاَمِيۡنُ(القصص :26)
Qalat ihdahuma ya abati istajirhu inna khayra mani istajarta alqawiyyu alameenu
Sahih International:
One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy."
اَنۡ اَدُّوۡۤا اِلَىَّ عِبَادَ اللّٰهِؕ اِنِّىۡ لَـكُمۡ رَسُوۡلٌ اَمِيۡنٌۙ(الدخان :18)
An addoo ilayya 'ibada Allahi innee lakum rasoolun ameenun
Sahih International:
[Saying], "Render to me the servants of Allah . Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger,"
