Surah [3] Ali Imran : 55

اِذۡ قَالَ اللّٰهُ يٰعِيۡسٰۤى اِنِّىۡ مُتَوَفِّيۡكَ وَرَافِعُكَ اِلَىَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِيۡنَ اتَّبَعُوۡكَ فَوۡقَ الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡۤا اِلٰى يَوۡمِ الۡقِيٰمَةِ ‌‌ۚ ثُمَّ اِلَىَّ مَرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَاَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَكُمۡ فِيۡمَا كُنۡتُمۡ فِيۡهِ تَخۡتَلِفُوۡنَ(آل عمران :55)

إِذْ
When
قَالَ
said
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
يَٰعِيسَىٰٓ
"O Isa!
إِنِّى
Indeed, I
مُتَوَفِّيكَ
(will) take you
وَرَافِعُكَ
and raise you
إِلَىَّ
to Myself
وَمُطَهِّرُكَ
and purify you
مِنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve[d]
وَجَاعِلُ
and I will make
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱتَّبَعُوكَ
follow[ed] you
فَوْقَ
superior
ٱلَّذِينَ
(to) those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
disbelieve[d]
إِلَىٰ
on
يَوْمِ
(the) Day
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۖ
(of) [the] Resurrection
ثُمَّ
Then
إِلَىَّ
to Me
مَرْجِعُكُمْ
(is) your return
فَأَحْكُمُ
and I will judge
بَيْنَكُمْ
between you
فِيمَا
about what
كُنتُمْ
you were
فِيهِ
[in it]
تَخْتَلِفُونَ
differing

Ith qala Allahu ya 'eesa innee mutawaffeeka warafi'uka ilayya wamutahhiruka mina allatheena kafaroo waja'ilu allatheena ittaba'ooka fawqa allatheena kafaroo ila yawmi alqiyamati thumma ilayya marji'ukum faahkumu baynakum feema kuntum feehi takhtalifoona

Sahih International:

[Mention] when Allah said, "O Jesus, indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve and make those who follow you [in submission to Allah alone] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me is your return, and I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ.

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 56

فَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا فَاُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابًا شَدِيۡدًا فِى الدُّنۡيَا وَالۡاٰخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ مِّنۡ نّٰصِرِيۡنَ(آل عمران :56)

فَأَمَّا
Then as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
disbelieve[d]
فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ
then I will punish them
عَذَابًا
(with) a punishment
شَدِيدًا
severe
فِى
in
ٱلدُّنْيَا
the world
وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
and (in) the Hereafter
وَمَا
And not
لَهُم
for them
مِّن
[of]
نَّٰصِرِينَ
(any) helpers

Faamma allatheena kafaroo fao'aththibuhum 'athaban shadeedan fee alddunya waalakhirati wama lahum min nasireena

Sahih International:

And as for those who disbelieved, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers."

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 57

وَاَمَّا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَيُوَفِّيۡهِمۡ اُجُوۡرَهُمۡ‌ؕ وَ اللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ(آل عمران :57)

وَأَمَّا
And as for
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُوا۟
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
[the] righteous deeds
فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ
then He will grant them in full
أُجُورَهُمْۗ
their reward
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
لَا
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
love
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
the wrongdoers

Waamma allatheena amanoo wa'amiloo alssalihati fayuwaffeehim ojoorahum waAllahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena

Sahih International:

But as for those who believed and did righteous deeds, He will give them in full their rewards, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers.

Surah [3] Ali Imran : 58

ذٰ لِكَ نَـتۡلُوۡهُ عَلَيۡكَ مِنَ الۡاٰيٰتِ وَ الذِّكۡرِ الۡحَكِيۡمِ(آل عمران :58)

ذَٰلِكَ
That
نَتْلُوهُ
(is what) We recite [it]
عَلَيْكَ
to you
مِنَ
of
ٱلْءَايَٰتِ
the Verses
وَٱلذِّكْرِ
and the Reminder -
ٱلْحَكِيمِ
[the] Wise

Thalika natloohu 'alayka mina alayati waalththikri alhakeemi

Sahih International:

This is what We recite to you, [O Muhammad], of [Our] verses and the precise [and wise] message.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 157

وَّقَوۡلِهِمۡ اِنَّا قَتَلۡنَا الۡمَسِيۡحَ عِيۡسَى ابۡنَ مَرۡيَمَ رَسُوۡلَ اللّٰهِ‌ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوۡهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوۡهُ وَلٰـكِنۡ شُبِّهَ لَهُمۡ‌ ؕ وَاِنَّ الَّذِيۡنَ اخۡتَلَـفُوۡا فِيۡهِ لَفِىۡ شَكٍّ مِّنۡهُ‌ ؕ مَا لَهُمۡ بِهٖ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍ اِلَّا اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ‌ ۚ وَمَا قَتَلُوۡهُ يَقِيۡنًا(النساء :157)

وَقَوْلِهِمْ
And for their saying
إِنَّا
"Indeed we
قَتَلْنَا
killed
ٱلْمَسِيحَ
the Messiah
عِيسَى
Isa
ٱبْنَ
son
مَرْيَمَ
(of) Maryam
رَسُولَ
(the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah"
وَمَا
And not
قَتَلُوهُ
they killed him
وَمَا
and not
صَلَبُوهُ
they crucified him
وَلَٰكِن
but
شُبِّهَ
it was made to appear (so)
لَهُمْۚ
to them
وَإِنَّ
And indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟
differ
فِيهِ
in it
لَفِى
(are) surely in
شَكٍّ
doubt
مِّنْهُۚ
about it
مَا
Not
لَهُم
for them
بِهِۦ
about it
مِنْ
[of]
عِلْمٍ
(any) knowledge
إِلَّا
except
ٱتِّبَاعَ
(the) following
ٱلظَّنِّۚ
(of) assumption
وَمَا
And not
قَتَلُوهُ
they killed him
يَقِينًۢا
certainly

Waqawlihim inna qatalna almaseeha 'eesa ibna maryama rasoola Allahi wama qataloohu wama salaboohu walakin shubbiha lahum wainna allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi lafee shakkin minhu ma lahum bihi min 'ilmin illa ittiba'a alththanni wama qataloohu yaqeenan

Sahih International:

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 158

بَلْ رَّفَعَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَيۡهِ‌ ؕ وَكَانَ اللّٰهُ عَزِيۡزًا حَكِيۡمًا(النساء :158)

بَل
Nay
رَّفَعَهُ
he was raised
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
إِلَيْهِۚ
towards Him
وَكَانَ
And is
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
عَزِيزًا
All-Mighty
حَكِيمًا
All-Wise

Bal rafa'ahu Allahu ilayhi wakana Allahu 'azeezan hakeeman

Sahih International:

Rather, Allah raised him to Himself. And ever is Allah Exalted in Might and Wise.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 159

وَاِنۡ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِ الۡكِتٰبِ اِلَّا لَيُـؤۡمِنَنَّ بِهٖ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِهٖ‌ ۚ وَيَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ يَكُوۡنُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيۡدًا‌(النساء :159)

وَإِن
And (there is) not
مِّنْ
from
أَهْلِ
(the) People
ٱلْكِتَٰبِ
(of) the Book
إِلَّا
but
لَيُؤْمِنَنَّ
surely he believes
بِهِۦ
in him
قَبْلَ
before
مَوْتِهِۦۖ
his death
وَيَوْمَ
And (on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
(of) the Resurrection
يَكُونُ
he will be
عَلَيْهِمْ
against them
شَهِيدًا
a witness

Wain min ahli alkitabi illa layuminanna bihi qabla mawtihi wayawma alqiyamati yakoonu 'alayhim shaheedan

Sahih International:

And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.
