Surah [2] Al-Baqara : 188

وَلَا تَاۡكُلُوۡٓا اَمۡوَالَـكُمۡ بَيۡنَكُمۡ بِالۡبَاطِلِ وَتُدۡلُوۡا بِهَآ اِلَى الۡحُـکَّامِ لِتَاۡکُلُوۡا فَرِيۡقًا مِّنۡ اَمۡوَالِ النَّاسِ بِالۡاِثۡمِ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ(البقرة :188)

وَلَا
And (do) not
تَأْكُلُوٓا۟
eat
أَمْوَٰلَكُم
your properties
بَيْنَكُم
among yourselves
بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ
wrongfully
وَتُدْلُوا۟
and present
بِهَآ
[with] it
إِلَى
to
ٱلْحُكَّامِ
the authorities
لِتَأْكُلُوا۟
so that you may eat
فَرِيقًا
a portion
مِّنْ
from
أَمْوَٰلِ
(the) wealth
ٱلنَّاسِ
(of) the people
بِٱلْإِثْمِ
sinfully
وَأَنتُمْ
while you
تَعْلَمُونَ
know

Wala takuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatili watudloo biha ila alhukkami litakuloo fareeqan min amwali alnnasi bialithmi waantum ta'lamoona

Sahih International:

And do not consume one another's wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [3] Ali Imran : 186

لَـتُبۡلَوُنَّ فِىۡۤ اَمۡوَالِكُمۡ وَاَنۡفُسِكُمۡ وَلَـتَسۡمَعُنَّ مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُوۡتُوا الۡكِتٰبَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَمِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَشۡرَكُوۡۤا اَذًى كَثِيۡـرًا‌ؕ وَاِنۡ تَصۡبِرُوۡا وَتَتَّقُوۡا فَاِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ الۡاُمُوۡرِ(آل عمران :186)

لَتُبْلَوُنَّ
You will certainly be tested
فِىٓ
in
أَمْوَٰلِكُمْ
your wealth
وَأَنفُسِكُمْ
and yourselves
وَلَتَسْمَعُنَّ
And you will certainly hear
مِنَ
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُوتُوا۟
were given
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
مِن
from
قَبْلِكُمْ
before you
وَمِنَ
and from
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أَشْرَكُوٓا۟
associate partners with Allah
أَذًى
hurtful things
كَثِيرًاۚ
many
وَإِن
and if
تَصْبِرُوا۟
you are patient
وَتَتَّقُوا۟
and fear (Allah)
فَإِنَّ
then indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
that
مِنْ
(is) of
عَزْمِ
the matters
ٱلْأُمُورِ
(of) determination

Latublawunna fee amwalikum waanfusikum walatasma'unna mina allatheena ootoo alkitaba min qablikum wamina allatheena ashrakoo athan katheeran wain tasbiroo watattaqoo fainna thalika min 'azmi alomoori

Sahih International:

You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.

Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 29

يٰۤـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَاۡكُلُوۡۤا اَمۡوَالَـكُمۡ بَيۡنَكُمۡ بِالۡبَاطِلِ اِلَّاۤ اَنۡ تَكُوۡنَ تِجَارَةً عَنۡ تَرَاضٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ‌ ۚ وَلَا تَقۡتُلُوۡۤا اَنۡـفُسَكُمۡ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ بِكُمۡ رَحِيۡمًا(النساء :29)

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
who
ءَامَنُوا۟
believe[d]!
لَا
(Do) not
تَأْكُلُوٓا۟
eat
أَمْوَٰلَكُم
your wealth
بَيْنَكُم
between yourselves
بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ
unjustly
إِلَّآ
But
أَن
that
تَكُونَ
(there) be
تِجَٰرَةً
business
عَن
on
تَرَاضٍ
mutual consent
مِّنكُمْۚ
among you
وَلَا
And (do) not
تَقْتُلُوٓا۟
kill
أَنفُسَكُمْۚ
yourselves
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
كَانَ
is
بِكُمْ
to you
رَحِيمًا
Most Merciful

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la takuloo amwalakum baynakum bialbatili illa an takoona tijaratan 'an taradin minkum wala taqtuloo anfusakum inna Allaha kana bikum raheeman

Sahih International:

O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 5

وَلَا تُؤۡتُوا السُّفَهَآءَ اَمۡوَالَـكُمُ الَّتِىۡ جَعَلَ اللّٰهُ لَـكُمۡ قِيٰمًا وَّارۡزُقُوۡهُمۡ فِيۡهَا وَاكۡسُوۡهُمۡ وَقُوۡلُوۡا لَهُمۡ قَوۡلًا مَّعۡرُوۡفًا‏(النساء :5)

وَلَا
And (do) not
تُؤْتُوا۟
give
ٱلسُّفَهَآءَ
the foolish
أَمْوَٰلَكُمُ
your wealth
ٱلَّتِى
which
جَعَلَ
(was) made
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
لَكُمْ
for you
قِيَٰمًا
a means of support
وَٱرْزُقُوهُمْ
(but) provide (for) them
فِيهَا
with it
وَٱكْسُوهُمْ
and clothe them
وَقُولُوا۟
and speak
لَهُمْ
to them
قَوْلًا
words
مَّعْرُوفًا
(of) kindness

Wala tutoo alssufahaa amwalakumu allatee ja'ala Allahu lakum qiyaman waorzuqoohum feeha waoksoohum waqooloo lahum qawlan ma'roofan

Sahih International:

And do not give the weak-minded your property, which Allah has made a means of sustenance for you, but provide for them with it and clothe them and speak to them words of appropriate kindness.

Surah [4] An-Nisa' : 7

لِلرِّجَالِ نَصِيۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الۡوَالِدٰنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ ۖ وَلِلنِّسَآءِ نَصِيۡبٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ الۡوَالِدٰنِ وَالۡاَقۡرَبُوۡنَ مِمَّا قَلَّ مِنۡهُ اَوۡ كَثُرَ ‌ؕ نَصِيۡبًا مَّفۡرُوۡضًا(النساء :7)

لِّلرِّجَالِ
For the men
نَصِيبٌ
a portion
مِّمَّا
of what
تَرَكَ
(is) left
ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ
(by) the parents
وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ
and the near relatives
وَلِلنِّسَآءِ
and for the women
نَصِيبٌ
a portion
مِّمَّا
of what
تَرَكَ
(is) left
ٱلْوَٰلِدَانِ
(by) parents
وَٱلْأَقْرَبُونَ
and the near relatives
مِمَّا
of what
قَلَّ
(is) little
مِنْهُ
of it
أَوْ
or
كَثُرَۚ
much -
نَصِيبًا
a portion
مَّفْرُوضًا
obligatory

Lilrrijali naseebun mimma taraka alwalidani waalaqraboona walilnnisai naseebun mimma taraka alwalidani waalaqraboona mimma qalla minhu aw kathura naseeban mafroodan

Sahih International:

For men is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, and for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much - an obligatory share.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [51] Adh-Dhariyat : 19

وَفِىۡۤ اَمۡوَالِهِمۡ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآٮِٕلِ وَالۡمَحۡرُوۡمِ(الذاريات :19)

وَفِىٓ
And in
أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
their wealth
حَقٌّ
(was the) right
لِّلسَّآئِلِ
(of) those who asked
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
and the deprived

Wafee amwalihim haqqun lilssaili waalmahroomi

Sahih International:

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

Surah [59] Al-Hashr : 7

مَاۤ اَفَآءَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى رَسُوۡلِهٖ مِنۡ اَهۡلِ الۡقُرٰى فَلِلّٰهِ وَلِلرَّسُوۡلِ وَلِذِى الۡقُرۡبٰى وَالۡيَتٰمٰى وَالۡمَسٰكِيۡنِ وَابۡنِ السَّبِيۡلِۙ كَىۡ لَا يَكُوۡنَ دُوۡلَةًۢ بَيۡنَ الۡاَغۡنِيَآءِ مِنۡكُمۡ‌ ؕ وَمَاۤ اٰتٰٮكُمُ الرَّسُوۡلُ فَخُذُوْهُ وَمَا نَهٰٮكُمۡ عَنۡهُ فَانْتَهُوۡا‌ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللّٰهَ ‌ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَدِيۡدُ الۡعِقَابِ‌ۘ(الحشر :7)

مَّآ
What
أَفَآءَ
(was) restored
ٱللَّهُ
(by) Allah
عَلَىٰ
to
رَسُولِهِۦ
His Messenger
مِنْ
from
أَهْلِ
(the) people
ٱلْقُرَىٰ
(of) the towns
فَلِلَّهِ
(it is) for Allah
وَلِلرَّسُولِ
and His Messenger
وَلِذِى
and for those
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ
(of) the kindred
وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ
and the orphans
وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ
and the needy
وَٱبْنِ
and
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
the wayfarer
كَىْ
that
لَا
not
يَكُونَ
it becomes
دُولَةًۢ
a (perpetual) circulation
بَيْنَ
between
ٱلْأَغْنِيَآءِ
the rich
مِنكُمْۚ
among you
وَمَآ
And whatever
ءَاتَىٰكُمُ
gives you
ٱلرَّسُولُ
the Messenger
فَخُذُوهُ
take it
وَمَا
and whatever
نَهَىٰكُمْ
he forbids you
عَنْهُ
from it
فَٱنتَهُوا۟ۚ
refrain
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
And fear
ٱللَّهَۖ
Allah
إِنَّ
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
شَدِيدُ
(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
(in) penalty

Ma afaa Allahu 'ala rasoolihi min ahli alqura falillahi walilrrasooli walithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeni waibni alssabeeli kay la yakoona doolatan bayna alaghniyai minkum wama atakumu alrrasoolu fakhuthoohu wama nahakum 'anhu faintahoo waittaqoo Allaha inna Allaha shadeedu al'iqabi

Sahih International:

And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.

Surah [59] Al-Hashr : 8

لِلۡفُقَرَآءِ الۡمُهٰجِرِيۡنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اُخۡرِجُوۡا مِنۡ دِيَارِهِمۡ وَاَمۡوَالِهِمۡ يَبۡتَغُوۡنَ فَضۡلًا مِّنَ اللّٰهِ وَرِضۡوَانًا وَّيَنۡصُرُوۡنَ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوۡلَهٗ‌ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الصّٰدِقُوۡنَ‌ۚ(الحشر :8)

لِلْفُقَرَآءِ
For the poor
ٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ
emigrants
ٱلَّذِينَ
those who
أُخْرِجُوا۟
were expelled
مِن
from
دِيَٰرِهِمْ
their homes
وَأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
and their properties
يَبْتَغُونَ
seeking
فَضْلًا
bounty
مِّنَ
from
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
وَرِضْوَٰنًا
and pleasure
وَيَنصُرُونَ
and helping
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥٓۚ
and His Messenger
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
هُمُ
they
ٱلصَّٰدِقُونَ
(are) the truthful

Lilfuqarai almuhajireena allatheena okhrijoo min diyarihim waamwalihim yabtaghoona fadlan mina Allahi waridwanan wayansuroona Allaha warasoolahu olaika humu alssadiqoona

Sahih International:

For the poor emigrants who were expelled from their homes and their properties, seeking bounty from Allah and [His] approval and supporting Allah and His Messenger, [there is also a share]. Those are the truthful.

Surah [59] Al-Hashr : 9

وَالَّذِيۡنَ تَبَوَّؤُ الدَّارَ وَالۡاِيۡمَانَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ يُحِبُّوۡنَ مَنۡ هَاجَرَ اِلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا يَجِدُوۡنَ فِىۡ صُدُوۡرِهِمۡ حَاجَةً مِّمَّاۤ اُوۡتُوۡا وَيُـؤۡثِرُوۡنَ عَلٰٓى اَنۡفُسِهِمۡ وَلَوۡ كَانَ بِهِمۡ خَصَاصَةٌ ؕ وَمَنۡ يُّوۡقَ شُحَّ نَـفۡسِهٖ فَاُولٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ‌ۚ(الحشر :9)

وَٱلَّذِينَ
And those who
تَبَوَّءُو
settled
ٱلدَّارَ
(in) the home
وَٱلْإِيمَٰنَ
and (accepted) faith
مِن
from
قَبْلِهِمْ
before them
يُحِبُّونَ
love
مَنْ
(those) who
هَاجَرَ
emigrated
إِلَيْهِمْ
to them
وَلَا
and not
يَجِدُونَ
they find
فِى
in
صُدُورِهِمْ
their breasts
حَاجَةً
any want
مِّمَّآ
of what
أُوتُوا۟
they were given
وَيُؤْثِرُونَ
but prefer
عَلَىٰٓ
over
أَنفُسِهِمْ
themselves
وَلَوْ
even though
كَانَ
was
بِهِمْ
with them
خَصَاصَةٌۚ
poverty
وَمَن
And whoever
يُوقَ
is saved
شُحَّ
(from) stinginess
نَفْسِهِۦ
(of) his soul
فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
then those
هُمُ
[they]
ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
(are) the successful ones

Waallatheena tabawwaoo alddara waaleemana min qablihim yuhibboona man hajara ilayhim wala yajidoona fee sudoorihim hajatan mimma ootoo wayuthiroona 'ala anfusihim walaw kana bihim khasasatun waman yooqa shuhha nafsihi faolaika humu almuflihoona

Sahih International:

And [also for] those who were settled in al-Madinah and [adopted] the faith before them. They love those who emigrated to them and find not any want in their breasts of what the emigrants were given but give [them] preference over themselves, even though they are in privation. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

لِّلسَّآٮِٕلِ وَالۡمَحۡرُوۡمِ(المعارج :25)

لِّلسَّآئِلِ
For the one who asks
وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ
