قُلۡ سِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ ثُمَّ انْظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ(الأنعام :11)
Qul seeroo fee alardi thumma onthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu almukaththibeena
Sahih International:
Say, "Travel through the land; then observe how was the end of the deniers."
هُوَ الَّذِىۡ يُسَيِّرُكُمۡ فِى الۡبَرِّ وَالۡبَحۡرِؕ حَتّٰۤى اِذَا كُنۡتُمۡ فِى الۡفُلۡكِ ۚ وَ جَرَيۡنَ بِهِمۡ بِرِيۡحٍ طَيِّبَةٍ وَّفَرِحُوۡا بِهَا جَآءَتۡهَا رِيۡحٌ عَاصِفٌ وَّجَآءَهُمُ الۡمَوۡجُ مِنۡ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَّظَنُّوۡۤا اَنَّهُمۡ اُحِيۡطَ بِهِمۡ ۙ دَعَوُا اللّٰهَ مُخۡلِصِيۡنَ لَـهُ الدِّيۡنَۙ لَٮِٕنۡ اَنۡجَيۡتَـنَا مِنۡ هٰذِهٖ لَنَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الشّٰكِرِيۡنَ(يونس :22)
Huwa allathee yusayyirukum fee albarri waalbahri hatta itha kuntum fee alfulki wajarayna bihim bireehin tayyibatin wafarihoo biha jaatha reehun 'asifun wajaahumu almawju min kulli makanin wathannoo annahum oheeta bihim da'awoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena lain anjaytana min hathihi lanakoonanna mina alshshakireena
Sahih International:
It is He who enables you to travel on land and sea until, when you are in ships and they sail with them by a good wind and they rejoice therein, there comes a storm wind and the waves come upon them from everywhere and they assume that they are surrounded, supplicating Allah, sincere to Him in religion, "If You should save us from this, we will surely be among the thankful."
وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوۡحِىۡۤ اِلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنۡ اَهۡلِ الۡقُرٰىؕ اَفَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ وَلَدَارُ الۡاٰخِرَةِ خَيۡرٌ لِّـلَّذِيۡنَ اتَّقَوۡا ؕ اَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ(يوسف :109)
Wama arsalna min qablika illa rijalan noohee ilayhim min ahli alqura afalam yaseeroo fee alardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu allatheena min qablihim waladaru alakhirati khayrun lillatheena ittaqaw afala ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah ; then will you not reason?
اَفَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَتَكُوۡنَ لَهُمۡ قُلُوۡبٌ يَّعۡقِلُوۡنَ بِهَاۤ اَوۡ اٰذَانٌ يَّسۡمَعُوۡنَ بِهَا ۚ فَاِنَّهَا لَا تَعۡمَى الۡاَبۡصَارُ وَلٰـكِنۡ تَعۡمَى الۡـقُلُوۡبُ الَّتِىۡ فِى الصُّدُوۡرِ(الحج :46)
Afalam yaseeroo fee alardi fatakoona lahum quloobun ya'qiloona biha aw athanun yasma'oona biha fainnaha la ta'ma alabsaru walakin ta'ma alquloobu allatee fee alssudoori
Sahih International:
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
قُلۡ سِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَانْظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الۡمُجۡرِمِيۡنَ(النمل :69)
Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu almujrimeena
Sahih International:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals."
قُلۡ سِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَانْظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ بَدَاَ الۡخَـلۡقَ ثُمَّ اللّٰهُ يُنۡشِئُ النَّشۡاَةَ الۡاٰخِرَةَ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ قَدِيۡرٌۚ(العنكبوت :20)
Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa badaa alkhalqa thumma Allahu yunshio alnnashata alakhirata inna Allaha 'ala kulli shayin qadeerun
Sahih International:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how He began creation. Then Allah will produce the final creation. Indeed Allah, over all things, is competent."
قُلۡ سِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَانْظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلُؕ كَانَ اَكۡثَرُهُمۡ مُّشۡرِكِيۡنَ(الروم :42)
Qul seeroo fee alardi faonthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu allatheena min qablu kana aktharuhum mushrikeena
Sahih International:
Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah ].
اَوَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡؕ كَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةً وَّاَثَارُوا الۡاَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوۡهَاۤ اَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوۡهَا وَجَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ ؕ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ كَانُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُوۡنَ(الروم :9)
Awalam yaseeroo fee alardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu allatheena min qablihim kanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan waatharoo alarda wa'amarooha akthara mimma 'amarooha wajaathum rusuluhum bialbayyinati fama kana Allahu liyathlimahum walakin kanoo anfusahum yathlimoona
Sahih International:
Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear evidences. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.
وَجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ الۡقُرَى الَّتِىۡ بٰرَكۡنَا فِيۡهَا قُرًى ظَاهِرَةً وَّقَدَّرۡنَا فِيۡهَا السَّيۡرَ ؕ سِيۡرُوۡا فِيۡهَا لَيَالِىَ وَاَيَّامًا اٰمِنِيۡنَ(سبإ :18)
Waja'alna baynahum wabayna alqura allatee barakna feeha quran thahiratan waqaddarna feeha alssayra seeroo feeha layaliya waayyaman amineena
Sahih International:
And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed [many] visible cities. And We determined between them the [distances of] journey, [saying], "Travel between them by night or day in safety."
اَوَلَمۡ يَسِيۡرُوۡا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ فَيَنۡظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَكَانُوۡۤا اَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةً ؕ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعۡجِزَهٗ مِنۡ شَىۡءٍ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَلَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ ؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَلِيۡمًا قَدِيۡرًا(فاطر :44)
Awalam yaseeroo fee alardi fayanthuroo kayfa kana 'aqibatu allatheena min qablihim wakanoo ashadda minhum quwwatan wama kana Allahu liyu'jizahu min shayin fee alssamawati wala fee alardi innahu kana 'aleeman qadeeran
Sahih International:
Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? And they were greater than them in power. But Allah is not to be caused failure by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent.
