وَلَا تُصَلِّ عَلٰٓى اَحَدٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ مَّاتَ اَبَدًا وَّلَا تَقُمۡ عَلٰى قَبۡرِهٖ ؕ اِنَّهُمۡ كَفَرُوۡا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوۡلِهٖ وَمَاتُوۡا وَهُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ(التوبة :84)
Wala tusalli 'ala ahadin minhum mata abadan wala taqum 'ala qabrihi innahum kafaroo biAllahi warasoolihi wamatoo wahum fasiqoona
Sahih International:
And do not pray [the funeral prayer, O Muhammad], over any of them who has died - ever - or stand at his grave. Indeed, they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger and died while they were defiantly disobedient.
وَّاَنَّ السَّاعَةَ اٰتِيَةٌ لَّا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهَا ۙ وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ يَـبۡعَثُ مَنۡ فِى الۡقُبُوۡرِ(الحج :7)
Waanna alssa'ata atiyatun la rayba feeha waanna Allaha yab'athu man fee alquboori
Sahih International:
And [that they may know] that the Hour is coming - no doubt about it - and that Allah will resurrect those in the graves.
وَمَا يَسۡتَوِى الۡاَحۡيَآءُ وَلَا الۡاَمۡوَاتُ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُسۡمِعُ مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بِمُسۡمِعٍ مَّنۡ فِى الۡقُبُوۡرِ(فاطر :22)
Wama yastawee alahyao wala alamwatu inna Allaha yusmi'u man yashao wama anta bimusmi'in man fee alquboori
Sahih International:
And not equal are the living and the dead. Indeed, Allah causes to hear whom He wills, but you cannot make hear those in the graves.
وَنُفِخَ فِى الصُّوۡرِ فَاِذَا هُمۡ مِّنَ الۡاَجۡدَاثِ اِلٰى رَبِّهِمۡ يَنۡسِلُوۡنَ(يس :51)
Wanufikha fee alssoori faitha hum mina alajdathi ila rabbihim yansiloona
Sahih International:
And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten.
خُشَّعًا اَبۡصَارُهُمۡ يَخۡرُجُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡاَجۡدَاثِ كَاَنَّهُمۡ جَرَادٌ مُّنۡتَشِرٌۙ(القمر :7)
Khushsha'an absaruhum yakhrujoona mina alajdathi kaannahum jaradun muntashirun
Sahih International:
Their eyes humbled, they will emerge from the graves as if they were locusts spreading,
يٰۤاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا لَا تَتَوَلَّوۡا قَوۡمًا غَضِبَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ قَدۡ يَــٮِٕـسُوۡا مِنَ الۡاٰخِرَةِ كَمَا يَــٮِٕـسَ الۡكُفَّارُ مِنۡ اَصۡحٰبِ الۡقُبُوۡرِ(الممتحنة :13)
Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tatawallaw qawman ghadiba Allahu 'alayhim qad yaisoo mina alakhirati kama yaisa alkuffaru min ashabi alquboori
Sahih International:
O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.
يَوۡمَ يَخۡرُجُوۡنَ مِنَ الۡاَجۡدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَاَنَّهُمۡ اِلٰى نُصُبٍ يُّوۡفِضُوۡنَۙ(المعارج :43)
Yawma yakhrujoona mina alajdathi sira'an kaannahum ila nusubin yoofidoona
Sahih International:
The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening.
اَحۡيَآءً وَّاَمۡوَاتًا(المرسلات :26)
Ahyaan waamwatan
Sahih International:
Of the living and the dead?
ثُمَّ اَمَاتَهٗ فَاَقۡبَرَهٗ(عبس :21)
Thumma amatahu faaqbarahu
Sahih International:
Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.
وَاِذَا الۡقُبُوۡرُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ(الإنفطار :4)
Waitha alqubooru bu'thirat
Sahih International:
