اَوَعَجِبۡتُمۡ اَنۡ جَآءَكُمۡ ذِكۡرٌ مِّنۡ رَّبِّكُمۡ عَلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنۡكُمۡ لِيُنۡذِرَكُمۡ وَلِتَـتَّقُوۡا وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُوۡنَ(الأعراف :63)
Awa'ajibtum an jaakum thikrun min rabbikum 'ala rajulin minkum liyunthirakum walitattaqoo wala'allakum turhamoona
Sahih International:
Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy."
وَمَا تَسۡــَٔلُهُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ اَجۡرٍؕ اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكۡرٌ لِّـلۡعٰلَمِيۡنَ(يوسف :104)
Wama tasaluhum 'alayhi min ajrin in huwa illa thikrun lil'alameena
Sahih International:
And you do not ask of them for it any payment. It is not except a reminder to the worlds.
اۨلَّذِيۡنَ كَانَتۡ اَعۡيُنُهُمۡ فِىۡ غِطَآءٍ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِىۡ وَكَانُوۡا لَا يَسۡتَطِيۡعُوۡنَ سَمۡعًا(الكهف :101)
Allatheena kanat a'yunuhum fee ghitain 'an thikree wakanoo la yastatee'oona sam'an
Sahih International:
Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear.
وَمَنۡ اَعۡرَضَ عَنۡ ذِكۡرِىۡ فَاِنَّ لَـهٗ مَعِيۡشَةً ضَنۡكًا وَّنَحۡشُرُهٗ يَوۡمَ الۡقِيٰمَةِ اَعۡمٰى(طه :124)
Waman a'rada 'an thikree fainna lahu ma'eeshatan dankan wanahshuruhu yawma alqiyamati a'man
Sahih International:
And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind."
اِلَّا تَذۡكِرَةً لِّمَنۡ يَّخۡشٰى(طه :3)
Illa tathkiratan liman yakhsha
Sahih International:
But only as a reminder for those who fear [ Allah ] -
كَذٰلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ مِنۡ اَنْۢبَآءِ مَا قَدۡ سَبَقَ ۚ وَقَدۡ اٰتَيۡنٰكَ مِنۡ لَّدُنَّا ذِكۡرًا(طه :99)
Kathalika naqussu 'alayka min anbai ma qad sabaqa waqad ataynaka min ladunna thikran
Sahih International:
Thus, [O Muhammad], We relate to you from the news of what has preceded. And We have certainly given you from Us the Qur'an.
لَقَدۡ اَضَلَّنِىۡ عَنِ الذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ اِذۡ جَآءَنِىۡ ؕ وَكَانَ الشَّيۡطٰنُ لِلۡاِنۡسَانِ خَذُوۡلًا(الفرقان :29)
Laqad adallanee 'ani alththikri ba'da ith jaanee wakana alshshaytanu lilinsani khathoolan
Sahih International:
He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."
اِنَّمَا تُنۡذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِىَ الرَّحۡمٰنَ بِالۡغَيۡبِۚ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةٍ وَّاَجۡرٍ كَرِيۡمٍ(يس :11)
Innama tunthiru mani ittaba'a alththikra wakhashiya alrrahmana bialghaybi fabashshirhu bimaghfiratin waajrin kareemin
Sahih International:
You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward.
وَمَا عَلَّمۡنٰهُ الشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۡۢبَغِىۡ لَهٗؕ اِنۡ هُوَ اِلَّا ذِكۡرٌ وَّقُرۡاٰنٌ مُّبِيۡنٌۙ(يس :69)
Wama 'allamnahu alshshi'ra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waquranun mubeenun
Sahih International:
And We did not give Prophet Muhammad, knowledge of poetry, nor is it befitting for him. It is not but a message and a clear Qur'an
وَاِنَّهٗ لَذِكۡرٌ لَّكَ وَلِقَوۡمِكَ ۚ وَسَوۡفَ تُسۡـَٔـلُوۡنَ(الزخرف :44)
Wainnahu lathikrun laka waliqawmika wasawfa tusaloona
Sahih International:
And indeed, it is a remembrance for you and your people, and you [all] are going to be questioned.
