فَاُلۡقِىَ السَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ هٰرُوۡنَ وَمُوۡسٰى(طه :70)
Faolqiya alssaharatu sujjadan qaloo amanna birabbi haroona wamoosa
Sahih International:
So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses."
قَالَ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ لَهٗ قَبۡلَ اَنۡ اٰذَنَ لَـكُمۡؕ اِنَّهٗ لَـكَبِيۡرُكُمُ الَّذِىۡ عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحۡرَۚ فَلَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَكُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ وَّلَاُصَلِّبَـنَّكُمۡ فِىۡ جُذُوۡعِ النَّخۡلِ وَلَـتَعۡلَمُنَّ اَيُّنَاۤ اَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَّاَبۡقٰى(طه :71)
Qala amantum lahu qabla an athana lakum innahu lakabeerukumu allathee 'allamakumu alssihra falaoqatti'anna aydiyakum waarjulakum min khilafin walaosallibannakum fee juthoo'i alnnakhli walata'lamunna ayyuna ashaddu 'athaban waabqa
Sahih International:
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring."
قَالُوۡا لَنۡ نُّؤۡثِرَكَ عَلٰى مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ الۡبَيِّنٰتِ وَالَّذِىۡ فَطَرَنَا فَاقۡضِ مَاۤ اَنۡتَ قَاضٍ ؕ اِنَّمَا تَقۡضِىۡ هٰذِهِ الۡحَيٰوةَ الدُّنۡيَا(طه :72)
Qaloo lan nuthiraka 'ala ma jaana mina albayyinati waallathee fatarana faiqdi ma anta qadin innama taqdee hathihi alhayata alddunya
Sahih International:
They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.
اِنَّاۤ اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَـغۡفِرَ لَـنَا خَطٰيٰنَا وَمَاۤ اَكۡرَهۡتَـنَا عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ السِّحۡرِؕ وَاللّٰهُ خَيۡرٌ وَّاَبۡقٰى(طه :73)
Inna amanna birabbina liyaghfira lana khatayana wama akrahtana 'alayhi mina alssihri waAllahu khayrun waabqa
Sahih International:
Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allah is better and more enduring."
فَاُلۡقِىَ السَّحَرَةُ سٰجِدِيۡنَۙ(الشعراء :46)
Faolqiya alssaharatu sajideena
Sahih International:
So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah ].
قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الۡعٰلَمِيۡنَۙ(الشعراء :47)
Qaloo amanna birabbi al'alameena
Sahih International:
They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds,
رَبِّ مُوۡسٰى وَهٰرُوۡنَ(الشعراء :48)
Rabbi moosa waharoona
Sahih International:
The Lord of Moses and Aaron."
قَالَ اٰمَنۡتُمۡ لَهٗ قَبۡلَ اَنۡ اٰذَنَ لَـكُمۡۚ اِنَّهٗ لَـكَبِيۡرُكُمُ الَّذِىۡ عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحۡرَۚ فَلَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُوۡنَ لَاُقَطِّعَنَّ اَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَاَرۡجُلَـكُمۡ مِّنۡ خِلَافٍ وَّلَاُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ اَجۡمَعِيۡنَۚ(الشعراء :49)
Qala amantum lahu qabla an athana lakum innahu lakabeerukumu allathee 'allamakumu alssihra falasawfa ta'lamoona laoqatti'anna aydiyakum waarjulakum min khilafin walaosallibannakum ajma'eena
Sahih International:
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."
قَالُوۡا لَا ضَيۡرَ ۖ اِنَّاۤ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنۡقَلِبُوۡنَۚ(الشعراء :50)
Qaloo la dayra inna ila rabbina munqaliboona
Sahih International:
They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return.
اِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ اَنۡ يَّغۡفِرَ لَـنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰـنَاۤ اَنۡ كُنَّاۤ اَوَّلَ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ(الشعراء :51)
Inna natma'u an yaghfira lana rabbuna khatayana an kunna awwala almumineena
Sahih International:
Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers."
