وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْاَشْقَىۙ ( الأعلى: ١١ )
But the wretched one will avoid it
الَّذِيْ يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرٰىۚ ( الأعلى: ١٢ )
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوْتُ فِيْهَا وَلَا يَحْيٰىۗ ( الأعلى: ١٣ )
Neither dying therein nor living.
قَدْ اَفْلَحَ مَنْ تَزَكّٰىۙ ( الأعلى: ١٤ )
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهٖ فَصَلّٰىۗ ( الأعلى: ١٥ )
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُوْنَ الْحَيٰوةَ الدُّنْيَاۖ ( الأعلى: ١٦ )
But you prefer the worldly life,
وَالْاٰخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَّاَبْقٰىۗ ( الأعلى: ١٧ )
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
اِنَّ هٰذَا لَفِى الصُّحُفِ الْاُوْلٰىۙ ( الأعلى: ١٨ )
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
صُحُفِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَمُوْسٰى ࣖ ( الأعلى: ١٩ )
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
