اَلَمۡ يَاۡتِكُمۡ نَبَـؤُا الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكُمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوۡحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوۡدَ ۛؕ وَالَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ ۛؕ لَا يَعۡلَمُهُمۡ اِلَّا اللّٰهُؕ جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَرَدُّوۡۤا اَيۡدِيَهُمۡ فِىۡۤ اَفۡوَاهِهِمۡ وَقَالُوۡۤا اِنَّا كَفَرۡنَا بِمَاۤ اُرۡسِلۡـتُمۡ بِهٖ وَاِنَّا لَفِىۡ شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُوۡنَـنَاۤ اِلَيۡهِ مُرِيۡبٍ(ابراهيم :9)
Alam yatikum nabao allatheena min qablikum qawmi noohin wa'adin wathamooda waallatheena min ba'dihim la ya'lamuhum illa Allahu jaathum rusuluhum bialbayyinati faraddoo aydiyahum fee afwahihim waqaloo inna kafarna bima orsiltum bihi wainna lafee shakkin mimma tad'oonana ilayhi mureebun
Sahih International:
Has there not reached you the news of those before you - the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud and those after them? No one knows them but Allah . Their messengers brought them clear proofs, but they returned their hands to their mouths and said, "Indeed, we disbelieve in that with which you have been sent, and indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."
وَكَمۡ اَهۡلَكۡنَا مِنَ الۡقُرُوۡنِ مِنۡۢ بَعۡدِ نُوۡحٍؕ وَكَفٰى بِرَبِّكَ بِذُنُوۡبِ عِبَادِهٖ خَبِيۡرًۢا بَصِيۡرًا(الإسراء :17)
Wakam ahlakna mina alqurooni min ba'di noohin wakafa birabbika bithunoobi 'ibadihi khabeeran baseeran
Sahih International:
And how many have We destroyed from the generations after Noah. And sufficient is your Lord, concerning the sins of His servants, as Acquainted and Seeing.
ذُرِّيَّةَ مَنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوۡحٍؕ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ عَبۡدًا شَكُوۡرًا(الإسراء :3)
Thurriyyata man hamalna ma'a noohin innahu kana 'abdan shakooran
Sahih International:
O descendants of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah. Indeed, he was a grateful servant.
اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَنۡعَمَ اللّٰهُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ مِّنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اٰدَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوۡحٍ وَّمِنۡ ذُرِّيَّةِ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَاِسۡرَآءِيۡلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَاجۡتَبَيۡنَا ؕ اِذَا تُتۡلٰى عَلَيۡهِمۡ اٰيٰتُ الرَّحۡمٰنِ خَرُّوۡا سُجَّدًا وَّبُكِيًّا ۩(مريم :58)
Olaika allatheena an'ama Allahu 'alayhim mina alnnabiyyeena min thurriyyati adama wamimman hamalna ma'a noohin wamin thurriyyati ibraheema waisraeela wamimman hadayna waijtabayna itha tutla 'alayhim ayatu alrrahmani kharroo sujjadan wabukiyyan
Sahih International:
Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping.
وَنُوۡحًا اِذۡ نَادٰى مِنۡ قَبۡلُ فَاسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَهٗ فَنَجَّيۡنٰهُ وَاَهۡلَهٗ مِنَ الۡكَرۡبِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۚ(الأنبياء :76)
Wanoohan ith nada min qablu faistajabna lahu fanajjaynahu waahlahu mina alkarbi al'atheemi
Sahih International:
And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah ] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood.
وَاِنۡ يُّكَذِّبُوۡكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوۡحٍ وَّعَادٌ وَّثَمُوۡدُ(الحج :42)
Wain yukaththibooka faqad kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin wa'adun wathamoodu
Sahih International:
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so, before them, did the people of Noah and 'Aad and Thamud deny [their prophets],
كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ نُوۡحِ ۨالۡمُرۡسَلِيۡنَ(الشعراء :105)
Kaththabat qawmu noohin almursaleena
Sahih International:
The people of Noah denied the messengers
اِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ اَخُوۡهُمۡ نُوۡحٌ اَلَا تَتَّقُوۡنَۚ(الشعراء :106)
Ith qala lahum akhoohum noohun ala tattaqoona
Sahih International:
When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?
قَالُوۡا لَٮِٕنۡ لَّمۡ تَنۡتَهِ يٰـنُوۡحُ لَـتَكُوۡنَنَّ مِنَ الۡمَرۡجُوۡمِيۡنَؕ(الشعراء :116)
Qaloo lain lam tantahi ya noohu latakoonanna mina almarjoomeena
Sahih International:
They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned."
وَاِذۡ اَخَذۡنَا مِنَ النَّبِيّٖنَ مِيۡثَاقَهُمۡ وَمِنۡكَ وَمِنۡ نُّوۡحٍ وَّاِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَمُوۡسٰى وَعِيۡسَى ابۡنِ مَرۡيَمَۖ وَاَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُمۡ مِّيۡثاقًا غَلِيۡظًا(الأحزاب :7)
Waith akhathna mina alnnabiyyeena meethaqahum waminka wamin noohin waibraheema wamoosa wa'eesa ibni maryama waakhathna minhum meethaqan ghaleethan
Sahih International:
And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.
