فَمَكَثَ غَيۡرَ بَعِيۡدٍ فَقَالَ اَحَطْتُّ بِمَا لَمۡ تُحِطۡ بِهٖ وَ جِئۡتُكَ مِنۡ سَبَاٍۢ بِنَبَاٍ يَّقِيۡنٍ(النمل :22)
Famakatha ghayra ba'eedin faqala ahattu bima lam tuhit bihi wajituka min sabain binabain yaqeenin
Sahih International:
But the hoopoe stayed not long and said, "I have encompassed [in knowledge] that which you have not encompassed, and I have come to you from Sheba with certain news.
اِنِّىۡ وَجَدتُّ امۡرَاَةً تَمۡلِكُهُمۡ وَاُوۡتِيَتۡ مِنۡ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ وَّلَهَا عَرۡشٌ عَظِيۡمٌ(النمل :23)
Innee wajadtu imraatan tamlikuhum waootiyat min kulli shayin walaha 'arshun 'atheemun
Sahih International:
Indeed, I found [there] a woman ruling them, and she has been given of all things, and she has a great throne.
وَجَدْتُّهَا وَقَوۡمَهَا يَسۡجُدُوۡنَ لِلشَّمۡسِ مِنۡ دُوۡنِ اللّٰهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيۡطٰنُ اَعۡمَالَهُمۡ فَصَدَّهُمۡ عَنِ السَّبِيۡلِ فَهُمۡ لَا يَهۡتَدُوۡنَۙ(النمل :24)
Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoona lilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanu a'malahum fasaddahum 'ani alssabeeli fahum la yahtadoona
Sahih International:
I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah, and Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and averted them from [His] way, so they are not guided,
اَلَّا يَسۡجُدُوۡا لِلّٰهِ الَّذِىۡ يُخۡرِجُ الۡخَبۡءَ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَيَعۡلَمُ مَا تُخۡفُوۡنَ وَمَا تُعۡلِنُوۡنَ(النمل :25)
Alla yasjudoo lillahi allathee yukhriju alkhabaa fee alssamawati waalardi waya'lamu ma tukhfoona wama tu'linoona
Sahih International:
[And] so they do not prostrate to Allah, who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare -
اَللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الۡعَرۡشِ الۡعَظِيۡمِ ۩(النمل :26)
Allahu la ilaha illa huwa rabbu al'arshi al'atheemi
Sahih International:
Allah - there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Great Throne."
قَالَ سَنَـنۡظُرُ اَصَدَقۡتَ اَمۡ كُنۡتَ مِنَ الۡكٰذِبِيۡنَ(النمل :27)
Qala sananthuru asadaqta am kunta mina alkathibeena
Sahih International:
[Solomon] said, "We will see whether you were truthful or were of the liars.
اِذۡهَبْ بِّكِتٰبِىۡ هٰذَا فَاَلۡقِهۡ اِلَيۡهِمۡ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّ عَنۡهُمۡ فَانْظُرۡ مَاذَا يَرۡجِعُوۡنَ(النمل :28)
Ithhab bikitabee hatha faalqih ilayhim thumma tawalla 'anhum faonthur matha yarji'oona
Sahih International:
Take this letter of mine and deliver it to them. Then leave them and see what [answer] they will return."
قَالَتۡ يٰۤاَيُّهَا الۡمَلَؤُا اِنِّىۡۤ اُلۡقِىَ اِلَىَّ كِتٰبٌ كَرِيۡمٌ(النمل :29)
Qalat ya ayyuha almalao innee olqiya ilayya kitabun kareemun
Sahih International:
She said, "O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter.
اِنَّهٗ مِنۡ سُلَيۡمٰنَ وَاِنَّهٗ بِسۡمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِۙ(النمل :30)
Innahu min sulaymana wainnahu bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
Sahih International:
Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads; 'In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
اَلَّا تَعۡلُوۡا عَلَىَّ وَاۡتُوۡنِىۡ مُسۡلِمِيۡنَ(النمل :31)
Alla ta'loo 'alayya watoonee muslimeena
Sahih International:
Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].' "
