اِنَّاۤ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ قُرۡءٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَ(يوسف :2)
Inna anzalnahu quranan 'arabiyyan la'allakum ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ حُكۡمًا عَرَبِيًّا ؕ وَلَٮِٕنِ اتَّبَعۡتَ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ بَعۡدَمَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ الۡعِلۡمِۙ مَا لَـكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنۡ وَّلِىٍّ وَّلَا وَاقٍ(الرعد :37)
Wakathalika anzalnahu hukman 'arabiyyan walaini ittaba'ta ahwaahum ba'da ma jaaka mina al'ilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin wala waqin
Sahih International:
And thus We have revealed it as an Arabic legislation. And if you should follow their inclinations after what has come to you of knowledge, you would not have against Allah any ally or any protector.
وَلَـقَدۡ نَـعۡلَمُ اَنَّهُمۡ يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ اِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهٗ بَشَرٌؕ لِسَانُ الَّذِىۡ يُلۡحِدُوۡنَ اِلَيۡهِ اَعۡجَمِىٌّ وَّهٰذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِىٌّ مُّبِيۡنٌ(النحل :103)
Walaqad na'lamu annahum yaqooloona innama yu'allimuhu basharun lisanu allathee yulhidoona ilayhi a'jamiyyun wahatha lisanun 'arabiyyun mubeenun
Sahih International:
And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language.
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَنۡزَلۡنٰهُ قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا وَّ صَرَّفۡنَا فِيۡهِ مِنَ الۡوَعِيۡدِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ اَوۡ يُحۡدِثُ لَهُمۡ ذِكۡرًا(طه :113)
Wakathalika anzalnahu quranan 'arabiyyan wasarrafna feehi mina alwa'eedi la'allahum yattaqoona aw yuhdithu lahum thikran
Sahih International:
And thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an and have diversified therein the warnings that perhaps they will avoid [sin] or it would cause them remembrance.
بِلِسَانٍ عَرَبِىٍّ مُّبِيۡنٍؕ(الشعراء :195)
Bilisanin 'arabiyyin mubeenin
Sahih International:
In a clear Arabic language.
قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيۡرَ ذِىۡ عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُوۡنَ(الزمر :28)
Quranan 'arabiyyan ghayra thee 'iwajin la'allahum yattaqoona
Sahih International:
[It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous.
كِتٰبٌ فُصِّلَتۡ اٰيٰتُهٗ قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ(فصلت :3)
Kitabun fussilat ayatuhu quranan 'arabiyyan liqawmin ya'lamoona
Sahih International:
A Book whose verses have been detailed, an Arabic Qur'an for a people who know,
وَلَوۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ قُرۡاٰنًا اَعۡجَمِيًّا لَّقَالُوۡا لَوۡلَا فُصِّلَتۡ اٰيٰتُهٗ ؕ ءَاَعۡجَمِىٌّ وَّعَرَبِىٌّ ؕ قُلۡ هُوَ لِلَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا هُدًى وَّشِفَاۗءٌ وَ الَّذِيۡنَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُوۡنَ فِىۡۤ اٰذَانِهِمۡ وَقۡرٌ وَّهُوَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ عَمًى ؕ اُولٰٓٮِٕكَ يُنَادَوۡنَ مِنۡ مَّكَانٍۢ بَعِيۡدٍ(فصلت :44)
Walaw ja'alnahu quranan a'jamiyyan laqaloo lawla fussilat ayatuhu aa'jamiyyun wa'arabiyyun qul huwa lillatheena amanoo hudan washifaon waallatheena la yuminoona fee athanihim waqrun wahuwa 'alayhim 'aman olaika yunadawna min makanin ba'eedin
Sahih International:
And if We had made it a non-Arabic Qur'an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? Is it a foreign [recitation] and an Arab [messenger]?" Say, "It is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure." And those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. Those are being called from a distant place.
وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ قُرۡاٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّـتُـنۡذِرَ اُمَّ الۡقُرٰى وَمَنۡ حَوۡلَهَا وَتُنۡذِرَ يَوۡمَ الۡجَمۡعِ لَا رَيۡبَ فِيۡهِؕ فَرِيۡقٌ فِى الۡجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيۡقٌ فِى السَّعِيۡرِ(الشورى :7)
Wakathalika awhayna ilayka quranan 'arabiyyan litunthira omma alqura waman hawlaha watunthira yawma aljam'i la rayba feehi fareequn fee aljannati wafareequn fee alssa'eeri
Sahih International:
And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze.
اِنَّا جَعَلۡنٰهُ قُرۡءٰنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُوۡنَۚ(الزخرف :3)
Inna ja'alnahu quranan 'arabiyyan la'allakum ta'qiloona
Sahih International:
Indeed, We have made it an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand.
